So what do Witches do?
Well actually, were just like everyone else, and thats because we are everyone else.  We are your neighbors, co-workers, teachers, friends, and even family.  Against popular beleif, we are not evil.
We are just the opposite. We try to keep ourselves in tune with the cycles of the Earth, and stay in harmony with nature.
We do casts spells, but they are not what you may think. They are kind of like focused prayers. After a spell or ritaul what ever we want does not materailize before your eyes (I can only dream), but rather we have asked the Spirit to assist us in our trying to reach whatever  desire we have set forth.
That Pentacle you wear, isn't that the sign of the devil?
The five pointed (up right) star enclosed by a circle has great importance. It has nothing to do with the devil what so ever. We don't even beleive in this so called entity. We don't beleive in an absolute evil. There must be balance within everything, nothing could survive without it.
Each point of the star has a specific meaning. Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Spirit on the top. The circle enclosing represents the never ending circle of life. Self proclaimed Satanic Witches (as you have just learned, there can be no such thing) turn our sacred symbol upside down, with Divinity on the bottom. They believe themselves to be the highest (biggest, baddest).
