Akashic Records--Large data base, with an unknown location, that can be accessed by the accomplished psychic through Universal connections.
Alter--A special flat surface, set aside and devoted to magickal workings, Lord and Lady (religious acknowledgment).
Amulet--Magickal charged object with a specific purpose such as luck, prosperity, or protection.
Ankh--Egyptian hieroglyphic and the symbol of life, love, and reincarnation.
Astral Plane -- The level of existence through which an astrally projected spirit travels. This is a world which doubles the world we presently live in. By adjusting things on that plane, they rearrange themselves on this one.
Astral Projection -- The separation of the astral body (or spirit) from the physical body. The astral body travels in the astral plane, to places near and far.
Athame--(pronounced A-tha-may) Cleansed and consecrated ceremonial knife used for ritual work. This black-hilt knife is rarely used for cutting anything on the material plane.
Automatic Writing -- The production of written material, by a spirit, through a person, but without conscious control of that person. Often, a person may write pages and pages of words that, upon waking they cannot remember.
Banish--To put a magickal end to something, as in exorcizing unwanted presences.
Bi-location--Form of astral projection where as you retain the capability of awareness to your present surroundings.
Bind--The magickal restriction of someone or something.

Demonic Spirit -- an entity or spirit that is, or was not of this earth. They have the capability of human possession, and the strength greater than any flesh & blood creature. NEVER CHALLENGE THIS TYPE OF ENTITY! Usually demonic spirits are distinguished by their dark, or black masses of psychic energy. These spirits can be seen with film, video, and sometimes with the naked eye.

Reincarnation-- The belief that each person possesses a soul which is independent of the body and can be reborn into another body at a later time.

Scrying--A divining method in where the diviner "sees" through a mirror, crystal, or ink water.
