WE"RE BACK!!
Actually we really never left,we just needed to ready for a move and then actually move!
Sagemanone is now located in Whetstone,Arizona. The new location is in the south east corner of the state about 19 miles west of Tombstone (OK corral gunfight ) and 10 miles north of Sierra Vista.
We now have Hi-Vel Inc on board as a marketing partner and had North American Builders/USA on the doors for a season too We thank them both for their support !!
The move put us back a bit as far as how much racing we did but the Honey Bee is getting ready to go out real soon to compete at our new home track "South Western International Raceway"
east of Tucson . Our new local is only 35 miles from there and will mean a longer season and ability to race more often!
The Sageman (Steve) Is now employed by Cochise County as a Maintenence Tech. His new Boss used to race a pro-stock Vega. Is that cool or what?
Team mate Joe Dooley made the move too and was re-united with The Electric Prunes in November of 2000 ! They have since released a brand new CD called "Artifact " with All new
songs and almost all of the original members on the recordings. TOO COOL!!!
The Honda accord is still in the works stage, but will soon see a fresh power plant and hit the quarter mile by the Mid-Summer !
The Dust is settleling and we are getting back to business.
As of this writting 3/12/02 we are gearing up to run the Bee in only a few weeks and shake off that dust .
The new power plant will jump off of the stand and into the Bee by early fall and we can't wait to see if we can go mid to high 10's with an "ALL MOTOR" machine and start doing some "HEADS UP" racing with the folks at IDRC at some of their National events .
