The whole time I watched as Cloud and Aeris fell in love and I waited for my turn to love him. I loved him from the begining through the end, but I never could tell him how much he met to me. The last time I saw him was a year ago and now I’m begining to miss him.
He never yelled at me like this before "But Cloud, Arris is dead. Won’t it only hurt you more if you keep talking about her?" or at least that’s what he always told me. "No she’s ALIVE! SHE’S REALLY ALIVE!!" "WHAT?!" I screamed. Then Barret and the others came up "Hey! What the hell is going on Tifa? You OK?" Barret ask. "Ya I’m fine just a little surprised that’s all."
"Barret we need to talk." is all Cloud said then they walked away. "Who’s he?" Sara asked. She was a new member of AVALANCHE. "Don’t even think about it." That’s all I had to say to her. I really don’t like Sara but Barret likes her so I let her stay. Then we all heard Barret scream "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU MEAN?! WHERE IS SHE?! DAMN MAN YOUR NOT SERIOUS RIGHT?!" Then in a couple of minutes they came out and Barret looked like a ghost. "What’s wrong??" I asked and he just walked away from me with no reply. "Cloud what the Hell is going on here? What’s wrong with Barret?" "Tifa I’m sorry but I can’t tell you right now but you’ll find out soon. I promise." then he started to walk away. "Wait I’m sick of all the secrets! Tell me what the hell is going on! And tell me NOW!" then he walked away from me. "Seems like he’s fair game to me." said Sara "Sara shut the hell up!"
The next morning I woke up to find no one in the bar. When I went up stairs to see if anyone was there I found a note. It said! "Tifa, Sorry but we’re leaving you behind this time. We’re going to find the others… I’m sorry but it’s for your own good.
"Hello. Anyone one here?" I yelled. There was no answer. Then I went down where we first saw him. I slowly walked into the room and looked around. "Hello. Vince, you here?" I said. There was still no answer. "I guess Cloud got here first, oh well.", then I started to walk away when I heard him yell "Tifa is that you? I’m sorry, I didn’t hear you. I was looking for some thing." he said "And what about Cloud?" "Vince thank God you’re here. Cloud and Barret left to find the others and they won’t tell me what’s going on and I was wondering if you" then he cut me off and said "Could found out and isn’t telling you what’s going on right?" "And one more thing. Take care of Cloud for me. He doesn’t realize it but I really do love him. A lot." "I can do that for you." "Thanks. I owe you one." Then I walked away.
When I got out the mansion I turned around and realized that I was falling in love with Vincent. I thought to my self that it wasn’t true but it was. Then I headed back into town and looked around, after which I went up to the mountain. When I came down from the mountain, I found that Cloud and the others were in town, so I hid and listened to their conversation. "Where’s Tifa? I wouldn’t mind having some of her cooking." I heard Cid saying to Cloud. To tell you the truth I was laughing at it.
When they left I went back to the bar. I started to worry when Vince called and told that they were coming to Midgar and were going to sector 6 and to go meet them there. I didn’t complain, I just left and went to sector 6. Just as Vincent had said there they were. "Cloud now tell me what’s going on please. I can help, please tell me." "Hold on a sec." then he walked over to Barret and they started talking, then he came back over to me and started talking "OK I’ll tell you Aeris is alive and so is Zack and Sephroth too. That’s why you can’t come. I don’t want you to get hurt OK. There you happy now?" "What do you mean Aries is alive but I saw her get killed and Sephroth too. But how are they alive? Let me come along I’m a big girl I can take care of myself. Please take me with you, I can help." I was determined to go with them no matter what. "NO. I told you that I don’t want you to get hurt. Got it?" he started yelling. "NO I DON’T GOT IT. Do you get this I’m not yours to control. I’m not your play thing, I don’t care what you say, I’m coming got it?" "Cid get in the High Wind and start it up were leaving." everyone else was staring at me, and Cloud. Then Cloud started Yelling and I walked way and got in the High Wind and went to the cockpit and started talking to Cid. Then Vince came and asked if we could talk alone so we went to his room. In his room he asked me "Why do you follow Cloud? After all he’s said to you. Why?" I didn’t know why he asked but I answered "I don’t know. Probably because I love him...why?" then he didn’t reply so I started to walk away and Cloud busted in.
"What do you want? To harass me more." I don’t know why I was being so mean to him. Then I started to walk away when Cloud grabbed my arm and said "Tifa we have to talk...Alone." "OK. Vince will you excuse me please?". Then he nodded his head and we walk in to Cloud’s room and he sat down on his bed and asked me "Why are you here?" "Why?! Why am I here! That’s because I almost lost you once and I’m going to make sure that it doesn’t happen again! I love you, Could Strife! Don’t you see I love you!" is what I said then I ran out of the room crying. Once I got to my room I flung myself onto my bed. I don’t know how long I had been crying before Cid and Red XIII came to get me, Cid started to say "If he treats you like this" then I butted in "Why do I stay? To tell you the truth I don’t know any more. I don’t know. Please leave, I want to be alone." I said this with tears running down my face. After they left Vincent came in "Why do you do this to your self? You claim you love him but why? I mean he treats you like your replaceable and your not. Why?" I truly didn’t know what to say I was still to lost in my tears to answer. Then he came over and held me in his arms and started to speak but I couldn’t hear him I was lost. Lost, where am I, was it the moment? Was it because I was falling in love with him?
Then I woke up the next morning and I was still in his arms we must have falling a sleep together. When I walked out of the room no one was up so I cooked a big breakfast. When Cid and Red walked in they both dropped there jaws "What the Hell? Last night you wouldn’t stop your crying but now your the happiest person in the world. What the hell happened?" Cid said while having a clueless look on his face. I just looked at him and was about to talk when Cloud waked in. "Breakfast is served" I said then walked back into the kitchen.
"Is some thing wrong?" said a dark but sweet voice. I spun around "Vincent you scared me! Please don’t do that." I looked at him for a while "You really must have loved her. Didn’t you?" "What!?" he yelled "Lucrecia. You loved her a lot didn’t you?" I said, "Yes. I loved her more than life it’s self. I’d give any thing to get her back." "Do you think that Sephroth could" "NO!!!" he interrupted me "I’m sorry it was just a thought." I said as I just realized what I just said. "I’m sorry." then I began to walk away when he grabbed my arm I turned around and he hugged me, then as our lips were about to meet, Cid came up on the intercom "All right hear we go! Oh ya and Tifa come up hear Cloud will fill you in." "Well I better see what he wants." I said then kissed him softly on his cheek. "Ya. You better hurry."
Then I went to Vincent’s room "Can we talk?" I said as I walked in to Vince’s room. "Ya what’s up? Is there something wrong?" he asked as he walked over and hugged me. "It’s not much but I need to talk about it." I said softly as I slipped out of his arms and sat down on the couch "Ya we need to talk I still feel bad about the thing that I said about Lucrecia. Also what I said to Cloud. I don’t know any more I don’t know...Hold me", I said as he wrapped his arms around me. I started to close my eyes when Yuffie knocked on the door. "Hello any one there? Vincent you in there?" she started to yell. "Ya hold on! Excuse me please." he said, then he kissed me lightly on the lips. "Yes Yuffie." he answered the door an walked out to talk to her. I walked up to the door to Listen to them "Is it true that Tifa said all that to Cloud? All that about not loving him any more?" she had one question after another. "Hold on one at a time. About yelling at him in Nibelheim yes it’s all true." he answered her questions. He started to turn to go back to his room when she started talking again "That stupid idiot she has loved him for so long and when he starts to love her, she pulls this shit. Stupid Idiot." she said. Vincent spun around and started to yell "DON’T TALK ABOUT HER LIKE THAT SHE MUST HAVE A REASON NOT TO LOVE HIM ANY MORE!" I was surprised I never heard him yell before.
He came back into the room and sat down on his bed and told me "This has been the first time I’ve yelled since...Lucrecia has died." he was looking down at the floor. "It’s OK.", I told him as I kneeled down and lifted his chin so we were looking at each other. Then I smiled and kissed him. It was true I did love him, I finally admitted to myself. After we kissed Cloud came on the speaker and said "OK everyone we’re here lets mosey." and in the back ground we could hear Cid saying "Damn man you did it again can’t you say move out or some thing!" "OK lets move out!" Cloud said to make Cid happy. "That’s much better." Cid said, you could still hear him in the back ground.
"Lets go. Cloud is waiting." I told him. Then as we were walking to the cockpit I was looking at my feet when I walked into the door. "Tifa are you all right? What’s wrong?" he asked as he helped me up. "Nothing." I said "I just need some time alone... Tell the others I’ll be there in a minute." "OK but if you need me I’ll be in here." he said as I left.
I walked on to the deck and began to think to myself, "if Aries is here then it will be all over and I’ll have to leave Vincent. That will just hurt him more" then I heard a voice and spun around and I was standing face to face with Sephroth and behind him was Zack. It was my Zack, the real Zack it was him, the same one I loved. "So now you love Vincent or is it Cloud? What happened to me? Do you still love me?" Zack said looking me straight in the eyes. "Stop let me talk. So my lovely Tifa." Sephroth said as he kissed my hand. "You love Vincent but your scared to leave him when this is over. Am I right?" he said, "Yes" I said as I started to cry. "But he still loves Lucrecia." I finished "Then I’ll make you a deal that you can’t refuse. If you come with me and love me, like you love Vincent, I’ll bring Lucrecia back for you." he said, to which I answered "I don’t know...YES! Take me after we find Aries, meet us there with Lucrecia. Then I’ll come with no fight." I finished then they left and I went to the cockpit.
Mother all ways said that all stories had happy endings. But this one didn’t then again this wasn’t a story it was my life. This is my story of lost love and pain, this was my life.
