"Morning" she said standing over her friend Maria. "It’s 3:00 in the morning it’s not time to get up yet." then she rolled over. She looked at her friend then walked away.
So after she tried to wake some of the others with no luck she walked into the gear hanger and sat down in front of Crecens her gear and it was beautiful. It had emerald green wings and had a slender body but it had no arms and the wings concede at the head. But it resembled her or so Doctor Uzuki said because they were both from the nano-machine colonies. She sat down and leaned back on its legs and started to think. Time must have flue because the others ran in "Kim’s Fei what wrong?" he didn’t answer her and ran past. Next person that ran past she stooped "Billy what going on?" but all he said was “ Out of the way Emeralda. We are in sort of a hurry." "No. I no move till I know what’s going on hear. I part of the team too. I big girl I help too." "Emeralda move or I’ll move you. Now get outta the way!" then she stepped aside.
"Me no part of the team? Me leave." with that in her head she started to write a letter to leave behind when Sig walked into her room. She hid the letter behind her "Aren’t suppose to knock?" she said quickly as she pushed him out of the room. "What’s wrong Emeralda? Why are you so upset?" Sig asked her. "They didn't let me go. I am sorry Sig. Just upset. .............That all!" she finally finished. "OK I’ll call and see why you can’t go. All right?" he asked fallow directly by her answer "Ok, thanks." Sig never came back or he came after she fell a sleep.
That night after a hard day all the others except Billy were in the dining hall talking when she over heard Elly say "She’s no good to us why don’t we just leave her?" after she heard that she ran to the hanger with tears coming out of her eyes she wiped then away. Then walked into the hanger and saw Billy, he asks "What’s wrong Emeralda? Is it about earlier I’m sorry but we were in a hurry. I bet the others are sorry too." he finished. Then she started to cry again. Billy walked over to her and hugged her she stopped crying and hugged him and said "Me go out in Crecens. Me be back soon. Need to think." Then she let go of him. He watched her clime into the emerald gear and leave.
Billy walked into the dinning hall and heard Fei and Elly arguing over weather Emerlda could stay or not. The others watched as the two fought. "So this is what she was so upset about. Don’t you get it Elly she is part of the team to! You have no right to talk about her like that!" Billy yelled, "What do you know? Does she follow you every were and ask you stupid questions?" Elly yelled "Yes she does she has bin a sleep for 4,000 years. Her parents are dead. You and Fei look like them that’s why." Billy looked at his father then to his sister. Elly then said "Just this morning you yell at her" she protested. "Yes I did but I also apologies for it." he looked around again and said "I’m going to go find her. Then if you diced you don’t want her hear then I’ll leave with her." "I’m going with you. Don’t want to miss all the action." Jessie said following Billy and Primera out of the room. Elly looked around and saw that every one but Old Maison left but that was he was cleaning up and he didn’t help much in a fight.
Mean while Emeralda was in the under grown city. She stood were she and Kim would to look at the X-mas tree. A single tear ran down the side of her face "Kim." she whispered then walked away to were they lived.
Bart, Billy, and Maria were one team and Fei, Rico, and Citan were the outer. "We have to find her. No matter what I pray that you ok Em please be ok please." Billy though. "Billy" Jess called out "Ya. What?" "Lets try the Lighthouse." "Emeralda...home". Primera said surprisingly everyone. "Ya she is home. I’ll go in on foot, if she’s down there and spots the Xeno-gears she might hide." "What the hell are you talking a bout we’ll all go in on foot" Bart protested. "Ya all of us." Maria spoke softly.
Mean while Fei and his team went to where Kerilan was barred to look for her. "I no want to leave again. Home my home" she spoke softly. She picked up a pitcher of her Elly and Kim. She fell to her knees and wanted to cry "I no love I no help I no good I no wanted. What I for?" she asked as Bill stood and lessened to her as she began to cry. "That’s not true." Billy said as he walked over to her and knelt down and held her. "I love you. I need your help. I want you, and you are supposed to be my angel. That’s what you are to be, my love, my life, my world that’s what you’re suppose to be." she looked at him and a tear fell, he wiped it away softly. "But Elly no want." he laid his finger on her lips and told her it’s ok and began to lean in to kiss her as Jess and Primera came in. "Good job boy Now lets go home." Primera ran and hit her knees and hugged them both. "This is home.....my.....home" she spoke as she stood up "I no want back at the ship. So I home." "No Em your wanted back at the ship that’s why everyone’s looking for you so you can come home." Billy said as he stood up "And if you don’t want to go back to the ship I’ll stay hear with you." "No I'm going home................our home" she grabbed the pitched and grabbed Billy’s hand when the others went a head. "I love you Billy." "I love you too Em. I always have and always will." she smiled and came closer to him as they went home "Home a home with Billy a home for us." she thought “A home”
When they came back Elly ran to Fei and kissed him. Em smiled yes but yet it was a frown. "Hi." is all she said as she walked away. "Em wait, just talk to her. Please." Billy asked looking at her with those caring eyes. "Yes." she replied as she walked to Elly. "We be alone?" "Yes. Fei please." Elly asked, he nodded his reply ad him and the others left. "You know I never really liked you but it seems fate must bring us together." Elly started "Fate. No." is all Em could say Fate what dose it mean Em though. Why is it bringing us to one another? Why me? "Emeralda! Are you listening to me!?" Elly screamed "No..........buy" she walked out of the room.
"Hold it!!!" she looked at the man with the gun. "What." she asked in a heartless voice "You don’t walk a way from Elly like that!" he started screaming but she walked away, he shot the wall by her head. Billy and the others came running down. No matter the man’s threats she keeps walking. "Em you ok? We heard a gun shot." Billy asked in a voice full of fear she looked at him and nodded yes he hugged her just then he turned her around and was shot. As he fell to the ground she grabbed his gun and shot back except her shot was in the hart "You have no heart you have no love so now you have no life." tears ran down her face "I try to love you and you try to kill him. You have some shame don’t you? Have no love inside, because if you had love you would cry yet not a tear fell so you must shed your tears, which are now blood and you hurt no more." she got down on her knees by Billy "I love you." she voice was muffled by her tears. "I will stay by his side. I give him my life. I love him." She thought. The room began to glow an emerald green, wings sprouted from her back "I told you that you were an angel…my angel." he said, soon the light was gone and he came walking out with her in his arms "I love you too Emeralda."
