We're on two different boats
That'll always sail, that'll always float.
You're the captain of yours, and I'm the captain of mine,
But journeying with you is never a waste of time.
We've shared our doubts and uncertainties.
You've taught me how to struggle through life's difficulties.
The inspiration you have to reach your dreams
Has already become a part of me deep within.
Sailing through the water is getting tough,
Especially now that the weather is rough,
But your destination is right off the distant shore,
Then I won't be sailing with you anymore.
Before that happens, I want you to know.
You'll always be in my memories wherever you go.
That's because you're my very best ally,
And never will I say any good bye.
