MISSION STATEMENT OF SAKS
It has always been a mission finding killies in Southern Africa even though they are practically on our front door step. Even when they are here in the hobby it is almost impossible finding them. So, our mission is:
- To make killifish more acceable in the Southern African hobby.
- To increase communication within the hobby and our society.
- To increase public awareness as to the wonders of killifish.
- To work with overseas groups for the betterment of the killifish hobby i.e.: conveying biology information, trading species, etc...
- To work with the various conservation bodies to protect and learn more about our indigenous killifish.
Sounds simple enough but locally it is very hard getting people to work together. It is our hope that we will oneday soon hold the first killifish show in Africa---whereupon we will show you all the pictures!
