| Did you know Humans were created for Glorification? Not ours God's! ��������� Our express purpose for exsisting is to bring glory to God.�� How have you been doing? ��������� Personally I think I've been doing pretty good. ��������� Okay so there was that one time I slipped and let that swear word come out, but it's under the blood right? �������� Then Friday I went out to a bar with some friends from work.� didn't drink anything alcoholic. ��������� WWJD? ��������� Is that what it comes down to? �������� I guess, but I think it's more than that. I mean I'm a member in good standing at my church and everyone who knows me well, knows I'm a Christian. If one of my non christian Friends from work were to see me at the bar or hear me say that word, they wouldn't think me any different than� some of the other non-Christians in the world. Not only that but they'd think I was a hypocrite for saying one thing and doing another. �������� And I'd pobably agree with them. |

| ���������� The Bible says "we are the light of the world.�� a city on a hill cannot be hid."�(matthew 5:14) Every time I read that I think of a city. On the bottom is a town, all the houses are tbe same,� same colors same style same everything.� If you look at it long enough everything seems to blend together.� �������� Then-- in the middle of the city is a huge hill, with a castle, a Cinderella-esque castle, covered in turrets and flags and knights and everything you could possibly imagine in a dream castle.� ���������� And that's us. There's no way you could miss it, it's totally set apart from the rest and you couldn't make the mistake of accedentaly going to a house instead of the castle. �������� Plus everyone in the village has to look up to see it. ��������� I don't know about you , but I'm the first born in my family.� if any of you are first born then you've probably been taught "Be a good example" or "he/she looks up to you!"� ���������� I know I have, it's realy distressing to know that you have to be resonsible for how your little brother or sister grows up. ��������� In the Bible it says that we are sons and daughters of God.� And not only that, but we are all first born.� Which means,����� -get this- we need to be an example for those who aren't children of God.� So I've decided to try to quit swearing and to not hang out at the bars with my friends after work. After all, I have to be a good example, they look up to me ���������������������������������������������� � JJ |
