| Walter Norman has Been a strong Christian for more than 20 years. His Divorce altho many turn away from God has Drawn him closer to His heavenly father. After his Divorce He met his lovely wife Arlie who has been With him through two Lovely daughters and 22 wonderful Years of Marriage. Walter first Realised the call of Helping those who had gone through the pain of Divorce when He Felt God call him in 1995. The Road was long and Many didn't want to see the Divorce recovery begin. We Felt there were many Road blocks in the way but that was how we Knew the Divorce Recovery Workshop was the Lord's plan. Satan would not oppose something so boldly if it wasn't going to bring many into the church. Our original Pastor, questioned the Ideas in the Divorce Recovery. He put to words What many had already felt. Questions arose, such as "How many people would attend." The answer was seven or eight per group. The Response was ignorant, "You'd split up a couple?" Then there was the Opposition in the Church. "Divorce is sin and Sin is sin" was the resounding reply in Regards to the Divorced. Walter's Heart went out to the people remembering how he had been shunned by the church after his own Divorce and by his Organization The Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. The cause of the brokenhearted has never been completely out of Walter's mind and now in their 10 year, they are welcomed as part of the church. |
