Presenting, from Finland...
JUKKA KETTUNEN's
Razor Collection
Jukka is a razor collector from Vantaa, Finland, who is a regular visitor to the Safety Razor and Shaving Collectibles web pages. Like many of us, Jukka may feel a bit isolated given the small number of razor collectors in the world, and apparently in Finland. In correspondance with Jukka by e-mail as a result of his visits to the site,  he mentioned some razors I was not familiar with, especially Russian, Scandinavian and eastern European razors. Jukka offered to send some photos which were scanned to produce this page. While this is not all of Jukka's collection, or even all of the photos he sent, this will give you a pretty good picture of the diversity of Jukka's collection, and of some of the unusual (for hereabouts) razors he has. Thanks, Jukka, for sharing this with us! You can click on the photos to see the original size pictures. Why not send in some pics of your collection, too?

A Merkur in a very interesting case.

A Haru, another Gillette clone.

A Primo and an interesting Gillette travel set.
Some old Gillette sets and a few clones that look real interesting!

Upper left is a Raadwad from Denmark, beside a Matador. On the bottom left, a Chinese Ever-Ready clone.

Some nice old fancy Gillette Combination sets.

C.V. Heljestrand in upper right, and
a Bon Maeet in lower right.

Some Swing razors...
I really like these bakelite sets!

That lovely old wedge blade razor in the top right is a Corso.

Here is a Chinese travel set, case says
"Beijing International Hotel". Anybody know what the other one is?

A Rotbart, several Fasan's, an Upsal, a Pelen, a Soluna and some Flying Eagle's.
I'd like to have this trayful in my cabinet!

Click here to e-mail Jukka if you have any questions or comments for him.
