I was given numerous Burma-Shave signs, Burma-Vita still in the bottles and boxes, lots of original Burma-Shave products still in boxes, original studio LP's of the jingles... some never used I believe, and other unusual Burma-Shave items. Will need to keep closer eye on ebay to fill collection.Even with hundreds of items, collecting over 20 yrs...still don't reach the tip of the iceberg. I think it is good to have a place to contact and be contacted by people with a similar interest around the world, I also hope that information and exchanges can take place. I do have a collection of over 4,000 safety razors, from C. 1800 ( yes I did mean to put this date ) to some of the more interesting modern razors.

Ker o britvicah nimam pojma, ceprav sem jih vcasih uporabljal (dosledno v jugovojski pred 15 leti), bi me zanimalo zvedeti, koliko so stare in kje si jih dobil (na bolsjaku, pri dedu...). Ali ves za kak poseben mu ej o tem vsakdanjem predmetu? Ali ne bi bilo krasno nekoc pri nas v NMS postaviti razstavice o britvicah in britju skozi cas?! S primerki od bronaste dobe prek zelezne in antike pa naprej bi lahko pokazal en zanimiv drobec vsakdanjega zivljenja, skozenj p razlicne vidike uporabe in nosnje tega predmeta (statusni simbol, del toalete, (samo)morilsko orodje, izkljucno moski predmet v preteklih obdobjih, tudi zenski predmet v sodobnosti - spomni se na veliko izbiro britvic in seveda brivnikov za dame!). Sponz r razstave bi lahko bila kaksna nasa firma, morda Brivsko-frizersko podjetje Ljubljana ali pa celo Wilkinson...). Ali si kje kdaj videl kako srednjevesko britvico?! Se priporocam za podatke!! I do own an old Merkur safety (slant) razor which lead me to rediscover what a great shave one can experience with a safety razor.
