Know Ye all by these presence and this writ that:

John Viverito and Rene Viverito,

Captain and First Mate of the sailing vessel
Pegasus,
have this day entered into the exalted brotherhood of

"Heroes"

after having, on the 24 day of March of the year 2001, rescued one fifteen year boy who had rendered himself and his jet-ski hard aground far out in the mud flats of old Tampa Bay. At the peril of grounding own-ship and risking personal safety, and under the threat of darkness, said Captain and First Mate did pluck said young lad, suffering from over-exposure, from the mud, and did tender aid and comfort to the hapless lad before depositing him on safe shores into the care of his concerned father.

Said Captain and First Mate shall hold this esteemed "hero" status until such time as they crash into the dock, go aground themselves, lose an anchor or do some other dumb thing. At that time they shall be catapulted back into the commonwealth of mere mortals until their next act of heroism.
