Takeshi (Tsuyoshi) got into a well known school for his good results. His father became an alcoholic after the death of his mother. He had to work two jobs in order to pay for his school fees and to support a younger brother and sister. He met Kai (Koichi) his classmate who has a wealthy father, and both become good friends. Takeshi chooses to be sent to the boy's home by hiding the truth (his real father was Kai's father), then to hurt Kai. Izumi (Okina), Takeshi's girlfriend promised to wait for him but ended up with Kai. Couldn't accept Kai's betray, he started to revenge and lost trust in everyone. He returned to himself after Kai risked his life to save him.

Takeshi believes that he may lost everything except hope.
Unforgetable : he cries in front of his sister and brother after stealing for the first time.
