Yamato(koichi) who wanted to look for his friend whose hometown was attacked by the earthquake met Takeru(tsuyoshi) on the way who wanted to look for his sister. To their surprise, the city was left only with the youths. All adults were dead due to a disease attacked. The kids were kept from the outside world to prevent the spread of the disease. Yamato who could not stand the youths fighting against each other for food, later became the leader of the youths leading them towards independence and they try to find ways to get out of the city. They called the place "miman city". Yamato and Takeru becomes good friends.

there's a part where tsuyoshi was learning a song from a guy who was dying very soon. Just before the guy died, tsuyoshi was able to sing and play the song for him as koichi managed to get him the complete guitar strings.
