The Timothy Dorgan, who appears in Rice Lake, Barron, WI in the 1920 census, is my great-grandfather.  The census mistakenly shows him as having been born in Michigan, when he was actually born in Canada.

 
Grandparents were Timothy Dorgan (b abt 1785, Ireland) and Julia ___ (b abt 1793, Ireland).  They (and 5 children, inc. Michael below) immigrated in 1825 with the Peter Robinson settlers.
 
Parents were:  Michael Dorgan (b abt 1813) and Mary Shea
(b abt 1815/20, and also immigrated as a child with her family as part of the Peter Robinson settlers).  Michael and Mary later moved from Canada to Michigan, where they died.
