][ Raw comes on the air for the 41st time, a video package highlights all the talent contracted to the Raw brand. The background music is the Raw theme, Across the Nation, after this we go live to the Raw arena we see the Hulkatron and a series of pyrotechnics to start off the show. JR and the King introduce what we can expect in over the next two hours ][
JR: Welcome to Raw, the first show after Unforgiven and what a night we have a head. If you missed Unforgiven you missed Kurt Angle retain his IC belt against Randy Orton a gruelling 30 minute submission match. Also from the Raw brand we saw Kane beat Chris Benoit in a First Blood match
King: not only that, but Kane is no longer under house arrest, he made Hogan put in the stipulation that if he beat Benoit the charges against him would be lifted. Towards the end of the match, the fight went backstage where Benoit was thrown through Hogan�s window to win the match. That lead to tonight�s main event a handicapped match for Kane against Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin. Haas and Benjamin picked up their first win at Unforgiven and are being thrown in the deep end here tonight!
JR: Hogan could be sending lambs to the slaughter tonight, but we will find out. Also tonight we will see the French duo, La Resistance face Tajir and Mikey Whipwreck. After a short spell in Smackdown�s Cruiserweight division, Tajiri has made a tag team with this Mikey Whipwreck, a man I know nothing about and have no idea what to expect, but I guess we will find out soon enough that�s the opening match.
King: As we spoke of earlier Kurt Angle retained his title, in a Submission match, well tonight he will compete in another Submission match, with a slight twist. The only way to win, will be to get the opponent to tap, and that will be Chris Benoit. You have to wonder If Benoit will even be fit to compete tonight after the First Blood match at Unforgiven.

Both teams get counted out then after this we see Dvon and Bubba Ray Dudley sprint down to the ring. Renee Dupree tries to throw Dvon around but Dvon sends him into the ropes and Bubba finishes him off with a team effort od a Dudley Death Drop! Dudleyz celebrate with the fans on their arrival][

We see Triple H in casual clothes, a pair of sweatpants and an Evolution t shirt, the Undisputed title is on the arm of the suite he is sitting on. Ric Flair and Randy Orton don�t appear to be in the room][
Terri Runnels: Hunter I hope you don�t mind, would it be possible to get a few words from you?
Triple H: Sure Terri what would you like to know from the Undisputed champion?
Terri Runnels: Well there are two main thing�s, we haven�t seen you at all tonight Hunter, normally you, Ric and Randy are causing some sort of problems for Hulk Hogan, well you know what I mean, speaking of Ric and Randy where are they tonight, are you still a team?
Triple H: What do you mean by that?
Terri Runnels: Well Randy Orton didn�t get the job done at Unforgiven, and he did say�.
Triple H: You think because Randy lost at Unforgiven I�ve dis-owned him? That�s really showing your ignorance Terri. I wont lie I was disappointed but, it wasn�t Randy�s fault he was screwed out of the title by Kurt Angle. The reason Im sat here, relaxing is because if you didn�t notice I was inside the battle dome a few nights ago. Injuries sustained in that structure don�t heal over night, so me, Ric and Randy are just over on Raw to keep an eye on competition, and to relax. They have just gone out to get some bubbley, then later on were gonna party the only way evolution know how.
Terri Runnels: That�s understandable, congratulation by the way on retaining your title, and as you mentioned keeping an eye on the competition, Who do you thin you will have to defend the title against at No Mercy
Triple H: It wont matter who I face at No Mercy. I have proven that without a shadow of a doubt I am a deserving champion, and the fact of the matter is no man out there is good enough to lick my boots clean!

Kurt Angle(IC) Vs Chris Benoit(HC)
King: Next we have the Submission match between the Intercontinental champion and the Hardcore champion, both men very similar in style, both expert technical wrestlers and they will point here in this match. Benoit and Angle can�t win this match by pin falls, they have get their opponent to submit, it�s not going to be an easy task, I can tell you that now! After that huge announcement from Hogan, Angle will want to show everyone he is deserving of that match next week, as will Kane in the main event later tonight!
][Chris Benoit is the first man to walk out Benoit proudly wears his Hardcore championship, after his entrance, Kurt Angle walks out wearing the IC title he retained at Unforgiven. Once in the ring the champions hand their title�s over and prepare for a technical showcase. Benoit calls for a show a strength resulting in Benoit sending Kurt into the ropes. From this exchange Benoit nails Angle with a short arm clothesline, Benoit takes control from this moment onwards, alternating in styles between some matt work and high impact offence. Benoit then tries to lock in the Crossface, but Angle wriggles free. Angle then gets some offence going, using the ropes and keeping Benoit in the corner. That is until Benoit reverses it and gets Angle in the corner, and hits some huge chops to the chest of Angle. Angle goes for a clothesline but Benoit scouts it and nail angle with a massive neckbreaker. Benoit get�s the chance to try for another submission hold and tries for what looks to be a version of a boston crab. Benoit locks it in but angle is able to make it to the ropes. Angle seems to get a surge of energy from somewhere and executes an Angle slam leading to an Angle lock, Benoit escapes this and one amazing roll thorugh manages to swepe Kurt form his feet, and lock in the Cripper crossface, Benoit gets him in the middle of the ring with no where to go, Angle taps and Benoit pikcs up a huge victory over Kurt angle][

Kane Vs Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin
][Haas and Benjamin come out to the ring first, both men warm up in the ring using the ropes. They talk amongst themselves about a game plan. After this Kane�s music plays and we see the monster walk out wearing just the trousers from his original red and black body suit. Kane gets in the ring and Haas and Benjamin leave, Kane slowly raises his arms in the air, then slams them down causing four pyrotechnics to shot up from each of the ring�s corner�s. The match gets started and Charlie Haas will be the first man of his team to face Kane. Kane takes control from the start just man handling the youngster. Kane crushes him in the corner, and lands a huge sidewalk slam on Haas. Kane goes for the pin, but right at the end he lifts Charlie�s shoulder up from the mat. Kane drags Charlie over to his partner Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin slaps Haas� back to make himself the legal man. Benjamin cautiously gets into the ring, Kane is egging him on telling him to get in the ring. Benjamin charges at Kane and works on him in the corner of the ring. Benjamin hits some huge knife edge chops, and Kane just laughs and tells him to hit them harder, only to nail Benjamin with a huge choloethesline. Kane just toys with Benjamin whipping him into each of the corners. Kane then picks Benjamin up and drills him into the mat with a power slam. Kane goes for another pin attempt, but pulls Benjamin�s shoulders up just like he did to Haas�. Kane scoops Benjamin up and executes a devastating tombstone on him. Kane then puts his foot on the chest of Benjamin, the referee counts three and Kane wins the handicapped match. Charlie Haas helps his partner backstage while Kane stands dominant in the ring][
