TRICK TIPS
The Basic Ollie.

This trick was invented by the the great Alan "ollie" gelfed. (sorry about my spelling but ive only just learned to spell elefant!!) Right to do this trick, try it stationary first, put your one foot on the tail, (which ever you feel comfortable with.) And your other in the middle of the deck. Once you have done this, slam your tail down popping against the floor, while doing this slide your front foot up and lift up your back foot thus creating the OLLIE. This is the building block of every trick, like the bread in a sandwich!! (if you know what i mean!!!!)
have fun, keep practacing, these are important!!
The common kickflip

this trick was invented by Rodney Mullen, this trick can be a BAS*ARD to learn but once landed, they become pretty easy, firstly put your feet in the ollie position but put your front foot slightly closer to the edge of the board (towards you.) Ollie, but when you slide you foot up, keep it sliding until it slides of the board causing it to flip. Once you have spun your flips try stopping them with your back foot when the deck is the right way up and push the deck to the     ground. This is also a very important move and should be practiced often.
The Shove-It B.S

This trick has close to nothing to do with the Ollie, the idea of this trick is to turn your board 180 deegres but don't spin your body, to do this trick put your feet in the ollie position and push forward with your front foot and kick back with your back foot making the board spin, once you have the hang on spinning these try to jump higher and go for the landing.
The F.S shove it is the same apart from when kicking the board use your front foot to kick BACKWARDS and your back foot INFRONT of you, these can be easier to start of.
The Heelflip

Dont expect to go out on sunny afternoon and think "i feel like landing a heelflip"   these things can make people quit, these really do cause pain!(and alot of it!).These are the opposite of kickflips, your feet should be in the ollie position but your front foot flush with the opposite side of the board. do the same as the kickflip, BUT kick of the opposite side, making it spin. Try and stop these in the air to stop the chance of over spinning them, if you miss the kick there is no friction between the board and your foot, making them pop up virtical and MUNCHING(big time) your bol*ocks, in other words girls have an advantage!!!
DONT GIVE UP ON THESE, THEY CAN BE USEFUL!!!!
The Pop-Shove-IT

T
o do these mix a pop of an ollie with a shove-it and try and keep them under control with your front foot, try them in F.S once you've got the hang of these!! (good fun up curbs!!)

The 180

This is when you do an ollie and spin around
180
degrees while you are in the air. you should land in switch or fakie.(Try these in fakie first, these can be much easier some times!, these are normaly called half-cabs)
Chad Muska doing a BS 180 off a roof. Dont try this at home!
