The Holy Qur'an  

The Book of Books was revealed unto the sincere
(The Prophet of Prophets) by God the All-seer.
If man follows well what is there in it
And speculates its verses with a clear wit,
Sure is he to lead a happy blessed life
And be granted a treasure-like good wife.

Read the Holy Qur'anic verses everyday
And Satan will be kept so far away.
Before you put on the pillow your head
Be careful to be spiritually well-fed,
Read it by night before you go to sleep
And recall your past sins and bitterly weep.

Ten alms are due with every letter done
'A' is a letter, 'L' is a letter and 'M' is also one.
Recite it and your tongue becomes so pure
Isn't it for all ailments a successful cure?

Happy are those who learn it by heart,
Never will piety from their hearts depart.
Would it redempt us on the Day and defend
When brother, mother, father flee and the friend!
