Acts 2:38-39 "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptised, every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall recieve the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you , and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call"

The McCormick's Creek UPCI, is located on Hywy 46, West of Spencer, Indiana. It was named for the McCormick Creek, and also for the McCormick Creek State Park which is also a short distance from the church, and is a very popular recreational spot in Southern Indiana.

"UPCI" stands for United Pentecostal Church International. The organizational headquarters is located in Hazelwood, MO., near ST. Louis.

OUR CREED

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It teaches us that to be saved, we must repent (turn away from sin), and be baptised in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, (to wash away those sins) and we will be filled with the Holy Ghost (speaking with tounges, as the Spirit gives the utterance) We find this instruction in Acts 2:38-39, when the people asked the Apostles how to be saved.

Also, we must live a clean and holy life before the Lord, according to His Word. We who love the Lord with our whole hearts, and desire to please Him, have no problem with being obedient to His Word.
