Sabine was a very lucky purchase out of Bywinds. She is a lovely mare that I am looking forward to breeding to some outstanding stallions both at Pendragon and in HF. Sacha wrote this about her former mare: "Imported in 1995 after a short but successful show jumping career the big well bred mare Sabine joined our broodmare ranks. An unfortunate stifle injury in the field meant she would never jump again but she had already shown her lovely attitude and natural bascule lived up to her breeding. Her dam is a full sister to the state stud stallion Sao Paulo and this line has actually produced dressage horses of the highest level."
