I was lucky enough to win some horses in the C&H Ranch Spring Auction. Deputy is one of the beauiful horses I was able to purchase. This is what his former owner and breeder had to say about him "Deputy CH is a wonderful success from Sheriff, his first foal. He is quality from head to tail, and shows great altheticsm and strength from his draft side and agility and precision from his Thoroughbred side. Is defintely not a small horse; he has his father's stockiness with his mother's long-bodied refinement. His color is lovely, and he is an all around flashy package with a sweet personality to boot. Deputy CH is from our great stallion, *PS Sheriff's Short Stop, who has proven his value in gold every winter as our working farm horse. C&H would not function like it does without this awesome and gentle giant, and we now know he passes his great personality to his foals. His dam, Stormy Weather, was a successful Steeplechaser who made more of an impact as a broodmare, especially with HOF Topside. Her foals are well known in HF as top notch competitors." When I first saw him I was struck by his handsome looks and then blown away by his great movement. I have yet to decide on his future discipline but suggestions from his breeder include: Dressage, Cross Country, Eventing, Driving, and Jumping. I am leaning toward eventing as it will combine all the athleticism that just oozes from him.
