Cedar is my first and only true show dog but more than that he is my constant companion. The term "velcro dog" is often applied to Aussies and for good reason. They will explore their surroundings but the minute you appear to be moving-you could be reaching for the remote for all an Aussie cares-they are keyed into you awaiting your next move. Currently, I am trying out a new supplement on him which, if it works, will give him his color back and enable us to begin showing again. In the meantime Cedar is enjoying the calm life doing some herding and agility along with his 4-H work. Cedar recently had a visit to the vet where he had x-rays taken. OFA results are in!! Elbows are NORMAL, Hips are GOOD! Way to go Cedar! It's back to agility for more strenuous training! Cedar is shown in 4-H by Jamie, see them on the Juniors page.
