What wonderful and strong works we have received for our premiere issue for September 2007. We are very excited to showcase all of the chosen writers, but we thank everyone so much for submitting work and for their time and consideration of Sacred Dawn..
We have high hopes of continuing to receive many high-end submissions for our next issue, but we hope that you enjoy this one for a while.
Sacred Dawn was begun with the premise that Native American writers and artists have few venues for their work, and as well the same for nature writing and arts. We hope to strengthen our communities and join in commonalities, instead of separations. Because Native American ideology is quite concerned with the environment, it is only natural to feature the two together for a common cause.
We hope to hear from you in the future, and look forward to opening and continuing dialogues for a long time to come.
