This picture below is the pyramid that one of our leaders, hugh, cory, and I decided to climb up on. Of course we decided to ignore the sign that said "PROHIBITED: DO NOT CLIMB" so we climbed it anyways. Ee're almost to the top when we hear a whistle. I look around. I see nothing, but I run anyways. I shout "RUN CORY, RUN!!!" I was actually worried about getting everyone out of there, but not cory. Cory then shouts out "LEAVE HUGH, LEAVE HUGH!!!" I look back and see hugh climbing down with a mug in one hand and the other trying to get down as fast as possible. We tried to blend in, but the security guard, who ran almost from the entrance, all the way to the sacraficial pyramid caught up to us. Of course he was mad. Out of breath, and in spanish, he said "Get out of the park. I never want to see you again." And so we just walked to the entrance, being watched like a hawk. but, if I could do it again, I'd do it in a heartbeat. |
