I attended Cardinal Mooney H.S. (unaffectionately named Cardinal Money H.S.) for four horrid years and escaped with my life. It was the least religious place that I have ever been, which wouldn't be bad, except that it's a CATHOLIC high school! The students there had appalling GPA's; the Administration was more concerned with handing out cursory detention slips and raising MONEY than they were with helping their students do well; and my senior year, some one died every week for the first two or three months, and then the deaths were more spaced out. Thus, Mooney kills. They should change their motto from "Serving God in the Community" (which they don't, other than in words), to "Killing Kids in the Community" (it's sad, but they seem better at arranging funerals, than inspiring youths about God.)
One time, a water main burst while construction crews were building some million dollar addition sending dirt and other debris into the water lines, including those that supplied the drinking fountains. Mooney "officials" only got around to informing the student body not to drink the water until well into the afternoon, so most of the students drank this contaminated water. Some administration they are.
So, remember kids, Mooney kills. It's most likely the water. |
