| How To Use: The Loud Noise |
| After a bunch of people said they were confused by the setup of The Reconciled Life, I decided that it might be helpful to explain what's going on with the page a little better. And that is exactly what I think I have done. (Mind you, I think I have made things clearer.) |
| Description: Basically, this page works on an entry system, just like a Live Journal or blog would. I write entries, they are uploaded into that month's file, and you can read them. |
| "Ok, Let's do this..." |
| Step One: Select the format that you would like to view the entries in (TXT versus RTF. If you don't know, go with TXT because it is easier and tends to work a lot better.) |
| Step Two: Select the month you would like from the colomn corresponding to the format you chose in Step One. (TXT is the left-hand colomn and RTF is the right-hand colomn.) |
| Step Three: Click on the month you have chosen and you will be presented with the entries for that month. |
| "Now I see entries, but what's going on here?..." |
| The way this works is that the newest entries are addes to the end of the file. So the first entry you will see upon opening a month was the first one written that month. Each entry will be dated (there may be more than one entry per date), and most will start with a "Title:" or "Untitled:" depending, and that's pretty self-explanatory. Remeber, just because you've read all the entries for this month, doesn't mean that there won't be a new one tomorrow (assuming that tomorrow is still this month). Check the "Updated" status to see when the newest entry was added. |
