The concert & auction that took place May 1 at the Manifesto (Hoorn) in remembrance of Hans Engel, our old bandmate who was killed on April 5th, made in excess of 18.000 Euros to be put on daughter Lotus Engel's savings account. We played some Vernon Walters tunes (thanx: Danny & Dim), other bands that played were Union Morbide (chaotic but great reunion!), Indirekt, Bird Dogs, Drijfzand, Godzilla & lots more.
Our friend Gert-Jan got us three boxes containing 300 old Vernon Walters CD's that De Konkurrent threw out a while ago. We're selling them at 5 Euros each; this money will also go to the Lotus Engel Fund. Get in touch if you want to buy one.
