Dear uncle,
I am overawed by your efforts to conserve wildlife as well as encouraging eco-tourism in Melghat. Melghat has always been close to my heart and eversince I was a child, I used to accompany my father into forests of Melghat. But now, its has been long since I last visited the beautiful and fascinating place.
I am quite aware of the developments taking place in that zone due to the Quarterly newsletter, 'MEL-VYAGHRA', formulated by you. Probably my father had received a copy or two from you when he had visited Amravati last. Immediately after going through the Newsletter, I had emailed you my views and felicitations, but maybe, you did not receive it since the email address ([email protected]) may not be active or for any other reasons.
Uncle, Bunny and myself, along with some of our friends (all nature and wildlife enthusiasts), are seriously planning a trip to Melghat. This has been a long old dream ever since we came to Mumbai, to go back to Melghat with our friends and show them all, what we all are missing in Mumbai's urban sea. Most of us being Engineering students, and one or two working, will be taking a break from our schedule and coming over to Amravati on 11th of June. The sole purpose is to visit Melghat. All of us have decided to venture around in Melghat to the fullest till we get totally drained, since here in Mumbai, we are more or less deprived of such a wild habitat. Of course Borivali national park is there, but then we have been there innumerable times....(now even the leopards there have started recognizing us!!!)
Uncle, this trip to Melghat will not be possible without your help and blessings. We, humbly request you to kindly confer us the chance to be in that wonderful and fascinating forest. I assure you, we all will behave in accordance with the nature and be friendly to the habitat. We are in the process of chocking out the rough plan and shall send it across to you for your approval as soon as you give us a nod.
Uncle, I am sure you will help us make our long awaited trip to Melghat into a cherished memory.
