N: Since I left the house I have been partying till some ungodly hour of the morning and meeting great people. Besides the Ralph shoot, appearances and the usual BB shenanigans...I have been a social butterfly talking so much that I keep losing my voice. I have seen only a little bit of Adelaide, my hometown, and have been inspired to travel Australia as soon as I can. Work is also on my mind and as soon as the right offer comes along, I will take it. BB: How do you feel about the general public's reaction to you? N: It�s truly amazing just how positive the public�s reaction is. Every time I stop to talk to a big fan of the show, they only have a positive response on my time in the house followed by encouraging words for the future. The only bad response I have had was from one man who was jealous of my determination and motivation to follow my dreams because he didn�t have that. BB: What is your favorite experience since leaving the house? N: My favorite experience since leaving would have to be seeing Peter in Melbourne the day after the Rove shoots. Seeing a man who has just had his life turned upside down as well as earning $250,000, girls at his feet, media all wanting a piece of him... and still, all he wants out of life is to see his family. I�m so glad it was Peter who won the money because that means that the public could see past the entertainment side of BB and it makes me realize that the majority of people still do have morals and so they saw Peters big heart and said he deserves the money. BB: Any low moments? N: Trying to get my life back on track after BB was quite difficult. Having such a close relationship with my friends and boyfriend...I found it really difficult to share with them the time I had spent away. It�s like taking a still photo of your time on a holiday. I could show them the picture, explain the picture but they could never share the time with me nor could they understand that time. BB: What do you anticipate might come of the experience, career-wise? N: Only time will tell... 1 July 2002 Nicole & Matt Intruder Nicole Dickman knows she changed during her 4 weeks in the intruder hide-out in north Queensland. She returned to her home town of Adelaide to finds her old relationships were different, too - with family, friends and her boyfriend, Matt. "Part of me is a new person," she says. "It's a difficult period ahead for me and Matt. I had to shut down my feelings to cope with being away from him. Now I have to re-open that vault, but I'm not that ready to open it. I want to do stuff for myself." Although there was speculation about her friendship with Brodie in the intruder house, she says it was nothing more than friendship. NW predicts: They will remain close friends, but nothing more. NW 14 June 2002 Nicole and Nicki - Twice As Nice Two of Big Brother's intruders, Nicole and Nikki, have not only become best mates since meeting in quarantine, they've also become cover girls. They might not have made it to the end of Big Brother (and Nicki didn't even make it in the house), but they have made it to the front cover of the next issue of Australia's most popular men's magazine, RALPH. 7 June 2002 Evictees Reunited Nicole admitted she was extremely nervous about the whole experience. �I just kept saying to everyone �You�re all so famous�. They kept saying, �Shut up, we�re just nobodies on the telly�. It was quite funny, giggling about the fact people recognise us.� She said seeing Nathan was the biggest buzz for her. �I missed Nathan a lot when I got out, and he�s still so fresh from getting out. He�s just a superstar. We went outside and people were just all over him.� 16 May 2002 One day out and Nicole has already signed up for a Ralph photo shoot and her own range of belly rings and g-strings. 9 May 2002 (Day 32) Nicole has been parading around in an outfit that could only be described as short. It is a creation of Shan's - a two piece micro mini and matching top. The boys are finding it hard not to have a perve. 8 May 2002 (Day 31) Keiran briefly joined Nic and Brodie by the pool and the three shared a hug. They are all finding it difficult coming into the house, but Nic seems to be taking it the hardest. After Keiran left, Brodie put his arms around Nic and she told him that she hasn't missed her friends or family the whole time she was away with the intruders, but is starting to miss them now. She says she is particularly missing Nicki. Keiran and Nic have been in the Diary Room individually telling Big Brother their first impressions of the house. Nicole thinks that while her and Kieran have stayed the same since coming into the house, she thinks Brodie has changed and she hasn't seen this side of him before. Nicole admits she was very overwhelmed last night when she arrived in the house but says that after spending a day talking to all the housemates seperately today, she feels much more settled in. Nicole just admitted that she's never tried peanut butter or Vegemite. Nicole has just had her first shower in the BB house. She is trying to not show any naughty bits by wearing a skirt in the shower and a bikini top. She is now trying to get changed under her towel. She'll probably tire of that real fast like most the others but we'll give her ten points for her efforts. Intruders Nicole and Brodie are awake. Nicole went in to see how Brodie was doing. She said "Last night I was thinking, I can't believe how loud these people are". 7 May 2002 (Day 30) Marty was clearly the most impressed by Nicole�s entrance. After looking her up and down, he offered Nicole a beer, which Jess quickly rushed to grab. Are we already seeing one of the original girls marking their territory? The excitement of Keiran entering the house had barely died down when the second intruder, Nicole, ran screaming from the bedroom.
