| 20 April 2002 'Shy' Big Brother Star Pops Up Nude THE house that holds no secrets managed to hold one for six days, but now it's out. Big Brother housemate Katrina has been exposed as a "Home Girl" who has posed naked for the soft porn magazine, The Picture, reports showbiz editor Michael Bodey. Katrina's "photo-graphic" spread in the March/April 2000 edition of 100% Home Girls, is clearly the "past that nobody knows about" she has alluded to on the Ten series. Posing under the name, Julie, the shy petal admitted that she likes theatre and flowers " 'cos they don't make you fat [like chocolate]". But that's pretty much all we can reprint. And definitely not the photos. It is believed the photos will be reprinted in next week's edition of The Picture, just as it did three weeks ago when it unearthed its earthy pictorial of Channel Nine's Survivor Australia contestant Caren. Big Brother producers knew of Katrina's "spread" before she was cast. Peter Abbott, executive producer of Big Brother, said: "Katrina happily made us aware of them [the photos] during the audition process and made it clear that they weren't an issue, so we've adopted the same attitude. They're not an issue." He would not speculate on whether the pictorial would affect her chances on the show, but it is unlikely. Katrina is one of the first three housemates to be nominated for eviction this Sunday. Her opinionated manner makes her favourite to be the first evicted, unfortunately before The Picture would hit the newsstands. The 22-year-old legal secretary admitted to the official Big Brother fan magazine she worried that people got the first impression of her. "I'm shy at first," she said. Right. She also admitted "deep down I'm a bit of a romantic". It's doubtful readers of 100% Home Girls would have seen a shy romantic in her athletic display. |
