In Bed with Marty & Jess

Their romantic antics kept the nation tuning in....

But now that they're out of the house, what's the scoop?

Marty & Jess are the couple of the moment, and their future looks very romantic indeed.

The pair, who have been joined at the hip since they were reunited last Monday night, are certain it will last.

Beaming with happiness Jess, 25, says she was astonished when Marty, 20, said he wanted to marry her. "I was totally flabbergasted," she gushes. "I love him so much and know everything will work out."

NW quizzed Marty about his feelings for Jess, and whether we'll soon be hearing wedding bells...

What attracted you to Jess?
Her smile, her outgoing personality and the fact she is a gorgeous person.

When did you realise your feelings went deeper than just a simple fling?
After a couple of weeks. I remember looking in her eyes and realising what I was feeling was something more. She is original, spontaneous and beautiful.

So did you and Jess take things, er, further under that doona?
No, we weren't the first Australians to have sex on TV! It was just mucking around. But it was hard holding back all that time because I did have a strong attraction to Jess.

You said you wanted to marry Jess. Was that just the drink talking, or did you really mean it?
When I said it I was really missing her and all I wanted to do was be with her. But it's really something me and Jess have to talk about.

Will your relationship survive outside the house?
To have spent that much time with someone and not get fed up shows how much I care about Jess, and just how strong our relationship is! We're still finding out about each other and are growing together, which is really great.

We heard her professing her love to you on many occasions. Did you ever tell Jess you loved her?
Maybe I held back a bit because of [girlfriend] Jonelle. But Jess knew how I felt - I didn't have to say it all the time. But when the intruders arrived we were all in the spa and I whispered it in her ear. I'm not sure if Big Brother heard me or not.

What do your family think of Jess?
She is already hanging out with my sister, Fiona, and my family. They think a lot of her, which is not hard because she is just such a wonderful person.

Will you return to your farm in Toodyay in Western Australia?
Long-term, that's for sure. But at the moment I have things to take in my stride. I just want to enjoy life. But the country is where my heart is, and that's where I will definitely return to.

Can you see Jessica living on a farm?
I realise it's a lot to ask of Jess. But I think if things are meant to be, then it will sort itself out. If you're in love it doesn't matter where you live. Jess has never tried farming before, so there's a chance she might enjoy it!

Were you still in love with Jonelle when you got together with Jess?
Yes, of course - you can't fall out of love that quickly.

Have you ever been unfaithful before?
I'd only had one serious relationship before Jonelle. And no, I didn't cheat on her!

Are you going to phone Jonelle, and what will you say to her?
I have a lot to explain, and it would be better to see her in person. Again, that's something I really have to do on my own. I know I will have to take whatever she says on the chin, but I'm prepared for that.

You mentioned in the house that there were problems with the relationship before BB even started....
I really don't want to say anything more than we had a really fun relationship. She was great fun throughout our time together.

What really happened between you and Sahra in the house last week?
There really isn't anything to say. She just gave me a hickey. I was always giving them out and she finally got her own back.

That's not how it looked to the viewers. There's been suggestion your behaviour may have cost you the game.
That's a really silly reason for people not to have voted for me. But if that's how it is, then so be it.

Why do you think you didn't win?
I already viewed myself as a winner by getting in there.

Do you have any regrets at all?
A lot of times I got into deep water because I threw myself into it full throttle, but that's how I live my life.
