Search for a Supermodel (Premiere)
8:00pm on TEN

This is the second year the search has been done in Australia and once again, this reality series will go behind the scenes to document every step of the process.

Cameras will follow the girls from the casting calls, to the glamorous parades and on the finals. No doubt there will be excitement, bitchiness, tears and tantrums as the girls scramble for their dream of fame and fortune.

Ten girls from each state will be selected as finalists, which later is whittled down to a total of 12 girls in the state finals. This select group will live together in a 'model house', supervised by the housemate Queen,Big Brother's Jemma. From this 12, one girl will be chosen by Ford Models as the national winner and goes onto the Ford Supermodel of the World Contest in Miami for the opportunity to win a US$250 000 contract.

In the first episode we meet some of the hopeful girls at the first casting calls and the people behind the scenes who will be helping the girls transform into supermodels. There is flamboyant stylist Alex Zabotto-Bentley, creative makeup artist Jody Oliver, hairstylist to the stars Kenneth Stoddart and resident 'Big Sister' Jemma Gawned.

Big Sister

Big Brother housemate Jemma is a new addition to the Search for a
Supermodel
team.
My role in Search for a Supermodel is like a Big Sister to the girls.
Jemma will be around to lend an ear to the girls as they go through
the Search and help them with fashion advice and style tips. She was
a favourite with fans of all ages at the Sydney casting call signing
autographs and posing for photographs with many of the would-be
models.
