| Big Sister - Jemma Search for a Supermodel Jemma will act as chaperone and �Big Sister� to our would-be models. She will draw on her experience with the media and life in the public eye to be their friend and confidante every step of the way. �My role in Search for a Supermodel is as like a Big Sister to you guys. I'm here to give you advice and be a shoulder for you to cry on if you like and here for you to lean on. �I have had quite a lot of experience in the fashion industry so I know how hard it can be and I know how some of you will be feeling some of the time, but I'm there with you 100% of the way, looking after you.� Jemma Gawned has been in the spotlight from an early age. Attending drama school at age 12, she continued her interest in acting throughout her high school years. Together with taking lead roles in many school productions she directed and coordinated fashion parades for her school utilising her expert eye for style. Pursuing her interest in fashion, Jemma commenced a career in hair and make-up artistry in 1994. In addition to this, she has also continued to direct and co-ordinate fashion parades. Upon being introduced to the Australian public as a �Big Brother� housemate, Jemma�s popularity has skyrocketed.
