| 16 April 2002 Ladies Man to Survive By Andrew Hunter HE may have looked as if he'd had the stuffing knocked out of him last night but strapping eviction nominee Damian is the least likely to be voted out on Sunday, according to the latest odds. The 21-year-old rugby player who says he's never had more than bump during his cruise through life seems set to have his charmed run continue ... for another fortnight at least. Centrebet has him paying $6 (at 5-1) in the three-horse race for eviction. The female domination of the Big Brother audience is expected to ensure the Queensland Casanova's survival for now. More worried should be 21-year-old legal secretary Katrina, who has firmed overnight as favourite for the first eviction. She boasted from the off that she could talk herself into trouble and, as the most nominated housemate, she appears to have fulfilled her prophecy. Of her nominators, only Aaron failed to mention her outspokenness (he was irritated she mistakenly called him Alex). Previous favourite for first eviction, Turkan, is just behind, paying $2 (at 1-1 on). She was charged by the majority of failing to gel with the household. The 30-year-old welfare worker will need to be at her bridge-building best between now and Sunday night, if she is to defy the early odds. Who will win today's odds: Marty $3.50 Any intruder $5 Aaron $6 Peter$6 Nathan $8 Alex $10 Damian$11 Jessica $12 Mirabai $12 Sahra $21 Shannon $21 Katrina $41 Turkan $41 Who will get voted off first today's odds: Katrina $1.70 Turkan $2 Damian $6 |
