| 27 May 2002 Brodie Leaves Bed-Buddy By Kathryn Torpy MUSICIAN Mirabai last night lost her second Big Brother boyfriend. In the first series-two eviction, the violin teacher farewelled Brisbane student Damian Hoo after only two weeks. Last night, she said a teary goodbye to Melbourne retail assistant Brodie. Like Hoo, the 24-year-old was voted off after just a fortnight in the house. Fans of the X-rated antics of Big Brother Uncut breathed a sigh of relief as "intruder" Brodie left the house last night. His eviction gave the program's hottest couple - Tweed Heads performer Jessica Hardy and West Australian farmer Marty - at least another week together. Fans using online newsgroups were last night campaigning for Hardy's eviction. She had been leading in the poll before the live show started, but Brodie's votes grew while it was airing. Some chat rooms said Brodie should stay so he could work against the newly-formed Big Brother faction, which has seen housemates Nathan, Alex, Sahra, Keiran and Peter holding secret meetings and speaking in code, in a bid to trounce the other contestants. Brodie left the house before tonight's hyped-up "surprise", which will see producers nominate all eight housemates for eviction. And on Sunday, two housemates will be kicked off.
