| 5 May 2002 Aaron's The Third Evictee After a hard week of confrontation with the other housemates, Aaron is the third person to be evicted from the BB house. We spoke to him following his eviction. Here's what he said about who's playing the game, boredom in the house and his strategy. Whos playing the game? Alex is playing the game, Sahras playing the game and I think probably Pete is playing the game. What about Shannon? I think shes sometimes a bit loud and a bit talkative but I think thats just her natural personality. You went in there with a particular strategy, what was it? It was probably just to ease into it but it didnt work out that way at all. I probably went in and thought, bugger the strategy, I might just drink six beers and be myself. Did you have a nomination strategy? I did have a nomination strategy. It was hard to pick people at the very first nominations because you had only been there for two weeks. Slowly after that, I thought to myself, what I hold dear to myself is loyalty, honesty, commitment and I wanted to reflect those in my nominations so that I knew myself that I was happy nominating these people and for the reasons why. Is that a strategy to win? No, not a strategy to win, its a strategy for nominating people. Because nominating people is hard. Youve become best friends with these people and its a bit hard to nominate them. Turkan is an interesting one, shes been nominated a heap of times but hasnt yet been evicted. I wouldnt be surprised if she makes the final four. She has got such a tender side and she is so knowledgeable about life that she deserves to stay. Do you have any idea why you were evicted? Pretty much I reckon because of the conflicts I had with Sahra and Sahnnon this week. The conflict with Sahra was when she tried to cover up that she moved without her life saving buoy. I already admitted that I had left mine and I said I just owned up to it. Whats the hardest thing about being in the house? There are a couple of hard things in there. Its hard to concentrate when youre being by yourself because theres lots of things going on around you and you think I want to be a part of that. And then you might find out that theres nothing going on out there. But boredom is the hardest thing in the house for sure. So who was your favourite person in the house? My favourite would be Turkan. And who was your least favourite person? My least favourite would be Jess or Shannon probably on an even par. I think Shannon comes across as your buddy-buddy but when it really mattered, like you know, when I had to go to the toilet, I thought, if she was my buddy-buddy she could have stood up and supported me but she turned around against me and I thought that was a defining moment in our friendship. What do you think will happen in the house next? The intruders are going in and I think thats going to be really interesting. The way that people were talking about it and the way I saw people talking about it, some wont take kindly to it but probably wont say anything because theyre being watched on camera. Coz everybody is aware the cameras are there. You can see people stop before they actually go to do something because there is a camera on them. Or youll see people say something that you wouldnt expect to come from them, because the cameras on them as well. Can you really do twelve dick tricks? Nah, not twelve I can do ten. Ive practiced a few in front of Emily for a laugh and a bit of fun. Theres a book out as well. I thought it was pretty funny and my mates at work and my mates at home thought it was pretty funny so I thought Id throw that in there when I went in. Why not? Do you think it's crazy betting 100% of your budget on the task? They'll bet 100% again. We love it. We think if we starve it's funny. Me, Nathan and Alex said if we starve there'll be more tension, there'll be more arguments, there'll be more excitement and that's what we want. We wanted more reaction because it was so boring. |
