| 1 July 2002 Marty's Marriage Talk By Kate Meikle BIG Brother�s resident Romeo, country-boy Marty, has revealed he wants to marry his in-house sweetheart � Jessica, that is. After a week spent flirting with the openly bisexual Sahra, Marty told the housemates a week without Jess was enough to make him realise what he was missing. During a Friday night drinking session in which the housemates made several startling revelations, Marty was quick to play down the confession. "This week this house has taught me that I want to marry Jess," Marty told the surprised housemates. "Don�t make a big thing." But the happy-go-lucky twenty-year-old was not without his doubts. "I keep seeing little things, like I pull open the drawer and see Jess� bracelet and it made me feel sad because I miss her. "But then she�s probably found someone else right now. So, what will I say." Marty also said he won�t be proposing any time soon. The confession came at the end of a high-charged week in the house in which viewers where left wondering just how deep Marty�s feelings for Jess were. Less than 48-hours after the Tweed Heads entertainer left the house, he and Sahra were seen wrestling on the bedroom floor and giving each other hickeys before snuggling up in the double bed. Jess has told the Sunday Telegraph she�s still keen to hook up with Marty when he leaves the house tonight. "I hope we'll be together forever," she said. "At this stage, all I can do is hope. Right now I'm just looking forward to Marty winning and coming out." |
