Wednesday, February 18

i finally learned; but it was too late ; because you left

Had cross country today..
Was damn slack,
walked with Vic, Ame, Cheryl, Peishan..
Aft tht, ran a little when LianChoo chased us, caught up with Nel, Marms, Angela and Co.
drank from the Milo van..
and came home with Momo and Ps..
Slacked, bathed, then we bitched a little, or maybe a lot. heh.

Went towning aft tht,
Ame and Cheryl pangseh-ed us.
had Sakae buffet, but we ate barely more than the amount we paid..
rushed down for our movie aft an hour,
it kinda sucked la.
not worth it. don't watch Something's Gotta Give,
it was hilarious at the start,
but the humour in the show was insufficient to compensate for draggy show.
the plot developed far too slowly, and by the last half hour,
i was playing daidee on my hp..
heh.

aft tht we took neoprints and i trimmed my hair..
my ponytail's really pointy..

and we came home.
kinda fruitful yea?

too young, too fragile
they're so afraid of breaking you

keep me locked up, you think you're protecting me

i got this off some webpage online, it's written by an author, "FluffyUnbound". i like the way he/she thinks. heh.

" In some ways, when you adopt a policy of "self-policing" in response to government threats of "police yourself or else" the effect is worse than if you just took the punishment. If the government had tried to go forward with attempts to censor movies, as they threatened to do, at the time that the MPAA got started, they would have been laughed out of court. It would have been a tough fight for about 18 months.
Instead of having the stones to have the fight, Hollywood rolled over and sentenced itself to servitude FOREVER. The quest to obtain a PG-13 rating has certainly helped to ruin films. For the first few years of its existence, the ratings system may have helped a few daring films, as a certain segment of the public sought out films with certain ratings for the novelty of it. But since 1975 the effect has been negative. Films have steadily been better made in technical terms, but the soul has leeched out of them. There are many factors at play, and the MPAA is only one of them - but it IS one of them. And what makes it more upsetting is that IT HASN'T DONE WHAT IT WAS INTENDED TO DO. No one has been "saved" from the "corrupting" influence of movies. It makes me laugh that they think that they are insulating a nation of sexually active 15 year olds, half of whom either have kids themselves or have a neighbor 15 year old who does, from the sight of a tit. It also makes me laugh to think that 14 and 15 year olds made up a good part of the armies depicted in films about ancient warfare. Those 15 year olds were tough enough to see REAL arms get chopped off, but somehow our 15 year olds will be permanently disabled if they see a computer graphic with some red pixels. It's a gigantic crock. Our definition of childhood in 2004 America is historically, culturally, biologically, and developmentally absurd. Octavian took control of his adoptive father's legions and changed his name to Augustus, and politically outmaneuvered the most sophisticated men in the world, at an age where in America he would be considered too young and fragile to have a beer. "

If I could watch the blood flow, then I'd savour the moment

(Casper, Wyoming) Anti-gay preacher Fred Phelps has announced intentions to erect a monument to Matthew Shepard the gay college student brutally murdered five years ago near Laramie.

But, the monument will be no memorial. Phelps says the monument would be 5 to 6 feet tall and made of marble or granite. It would bear a bronze plaque bearing the image of Shepard and have an inscription reading "MATTHEW SHEPARD, Entered Hell October 12, 1998, in Defiance of God's Warning: 'Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind; it is abomination.' Leviticus 18:22."

To sign a petition against this, go here.

would you laugh or would you walk away.

he opens up her heart for the world.
hears the mocking laughter.
hears them putting him down.
all he wants is acceptance.
is that so very hard.
yet, no one answers him.
he feels so broken and alone.
unwanted and misunderstood.

would you want ter come ter him.
with your open arms.
leading him into the warmth.
out of the cold.
bitter biting never-ending cutting remarks.
they don't seem to hurt him anymore.
that's because you are here.
and in this small haven you've built.
he can bloom.
like a beautiful rose in spring.
with your love,
he is complete.
