.: Chapter 5 :.

"It that the boat Papa?"
"Yes, it's pretty isn't it?" Seth went to get the bags while Sabyien and the
others approached the gate. It was dark now, the taxi driver had trouble
finding the right dock.
A ship's officer greeted them. "Welcome aboard Mr. and Mrs. Belmont, enjoy your
cruise."
Sabyien dug his fingers painfully into Seth's side as the officer smiled warmly
at 'her'
When they were enough distance away Saby snarled in Seth's ear. "That was the
third guy who..."
Seth lifted an eyebrow, and smiled teasingly "Well, you do pack a pretty
package. ' Wife' " he pinched his butt. Saby yelped and slap his hand away. Ryo
rolled his eyes.
They walked onto the ship, Ryo looked at the map he had picked up. "Whoa! this
can't be right.... Our rooms in the first class section?"
Seth was smiling broadly now. "Yep! nothing but the best for my family!" he
picked up Jenga and put an arm around Ryo's shoulders.
"First class eh?" Sabyien shrugged. "As soon as we get there, I'm taking this
bra off for good."

A woman heard the good-natured laughter, one of the voices was very familiar.
She turned slightly, a tall, well built man was laughing along with appeared to
be another woman, a lovely thing with long black hair....the wind shifted, No,
that's a man...in a dress.
Ice-blue eyes watched them for a moment longer. She smiled, she would have
plenty of time to introduce herself to Seth again.

The four moved to their room. Ryo looked around amazed, there was 3 bedrooms, a
kitchenette and a living room. He looked at the bedrooms and at the
others. "Ummm.... who gets what room?"
Seth smiled. "Your mother and I will take this one, you and Jenga take the
others."
"Ok then." Ryo returned to his I-don't-care-if-you-fuck-or-not voice.
"Stop calling me a woman! And...Seth, Your getting the couch!" Sabyien slammed
the door to the master bedroom, Seth was alone in the living room
blinking. ".....Ok..."
There was a squeal of delight. "Look Papa! I got some stuff.!" Seth smiled and
looked in, In every room there was a gift basket filled with various things.
Jenga had gotten a basket filled with girl's toys.

Sabyien stretched, it felt good to be in his normal clothes again. He put away
the woman's clothing and noticed a gift basket filled with things that couple
would have. Snacks, bath stuff....plus a pair of his and hers underwear...he
pulled out a few condoms, which he quickly put back.
When he came back out, he found Seth lounging on the soft plush couch, flicking
through the channels. "Like the room?" He asked,
Sabyien didn't bother saying anything, he pushed Seth's legs out of the way and
sat, watching the t.v "What's the score?"
"3-4. East is wining."

Ryo Sat on his bed, the gift basket was opened, but it didn't interest him, a
few comics and several others lay out on the bed. He laid back considering
going to sleep but he had heard there was going to be a life jacket test in the
next hour.
"Well, I'm going to see if Jenga and Ryo are settled in yet." Saby said
standing. He didn't think he'd miss much of the game, and besides, he had to
talk to Ryo. It was time to tell him. He knocked on Jenga's door. "Jenga are
you settled in?"
"Yes mommy." she said then looked up. "Oh, Your not-mommy now."
"Well don't forget to get ready for the safety check..." Saby left the door
open and headed to Ryo's room. "Ryo...?"
"Yeah Saby?"
"Mind if I come in? I have something to talk to you about."
"...Ok..." Saby opened the door and walked over sitting on the bed.
"This is something you should know...it has to do with me... and you."

Now that he had Ryo's attention, Sabyien sat on the edge of the bed. "You now
that I'm not a normal human being." Ryo frowned, "Yeah..."
The Guardian pushed a stand of hair from his eyes, This is going to be more
difficult then I thought.
"I'm not from this world..."
"Are you an alien?" Ryo asked, Sabyien stared at him for a second then chuckled.
"I guess you can say that. I did have a human mother here in this world
but she's long passed away...."
"How long ago? Just how old are you Sabyien? I remember you saying that you
were there when Richard went to the crusades."
"Yes, I was there. As for my age in this world." He tried to remember."I think
I'm 995 years old...or near that..Heh, You'll tend to lose track if you lived
as long as I have." Sabyien smiled nervously.
"Anyways, I've come to this world to look for the Sword-Barer."
Ryo sighed, "I've heard this all before...what I want to know about is why. Why
do you want the sword so much. I know that it's to save my world. But why would
you want to save it if it's not your home in the first place?"
Sabyien closed his eyes, "Ryo, that is not easy for me to explain." the
Guardian lowered his head sadly, "But, it is a fair question."
Ryo waited for the answer.
"It's not easy for me to talk about, but I can show you...." Sabyien looked at
Ryo from under the fringe of hair. "...if you come and walk in my dream."
Ryo looked at him perplexed for a moment. "Walk in your dreams? What do you
mean?"
Saby looked at him levelly he knew he'd have to explain it to him. "You know
the dreams you have been having I was in? I was actually there. The shard I had
on the chain around my neck let me do it. That shard is now in your body.If you
concentrate, you can harness that power and enter someone else's sleeping mind.
Do you understand?" Ryo nodded. "Good." Sabyien lay down on the bed and shut
his eyes. "I'll be able to explain things better in there."
Ryo closed his eyes and concentrated, he reached out to touch Sabyien, he felt
himself be pulled away from his own body and into the Guardian's. He hit the
ground in his mind with a solid thump. he lay on his back gasping for air like
a fish out of water then slowly relaxed he stood up "Saby?" He called out
looking around, he was standing in a forest, through the trees he could see an
ocean and a mountain, he turned and in the other direction was a large
building, like a castle or fortress. Ryo called out again.

Sabyien felt the slight pressure of his armor, it was comforting somehow. He
heard Ryo calling out. He smiled, Good, he didn't have to much trouble.
"Ryo."
The Guardian walked towards the glade where Ryo had landed, the wind picked up,
blowing silver leaves from the trees. Ryo turned at the sound of his voice. He
smiled and ran to Sabyien. "What is this place?" He asked looking around in
wonder.
The trees here were green, but on the underside they had a silver film. The few
trees that were in bloom had pale pink blossoms. they reminded of Ryo of the
Sakura trees in Japan.
"This place is a fragment of my homeland, Ashaland. " Sabyien pulled off the
helm, "Come this way, we see a part of my father's gardens." He lead Ryo along
a stone path to a courtyard filled with white roses, A large water fountain in
the center. Sabyien sat on it's edge he waited for Ryo to join him.
But Ryo was gazing around.".....White roses. Hey, I remember seeing them in
your apartment!"
"Yeah. They remind me of home." Sabyien smiled. "My father built these gardens
on our estate."

Ryo looked around amazed, he then sat down next to Sabyien and waited for him
to tell him. But there was a feeling..... it gnawed at him slightly, a feeling
that told him. he didn't want to know. he pushed the feeling aside and smiled
at Sabyien.
"The reason why I want the Sacrosanct Sword is to get back home...I have been
wandering the multi-verse for eons. In each world I traveled to, it was always
on the verge of collapse. As my duty as the Preserver of Balance, I was bound
to find the sword in each world."
Sabyien dipped his finger in the water, the ripples spread out, a faint image
of a young woman with dark hair and eyes cleared.
"In each world, She is always there, the barer of the Sacrosanct sword."
Ryo looked, the girl....looked so much like him! "Is...is...it always a girl?"
"Yes, usually." Sabyien gave Ryo a bitter smile. "And every single one...." He
couldn't continue that thought. "Each one I've had to fight to get the sword
from." He slapped at the water. The scene shifted, it showed one of the female
sword bearers crying over the body a man. She held a glittering sword in her
hand. Then she looked up in anger, grief etched on her lovely face. "It never
turns out right, She wins but..."
Sabyien gave a deep sigh. "It's something that I have to do. I need that sword
to Restore Ashaland."
"Restore...?"
"Ashaland was once like this." Saby gestured to the lush forest and
surroundings. "But since the Crimson Wars, it had become a wasteland of
flames." The Guardian squeezed back tears. Ryo waited quietly.
Finally, Sabyien stood up, "Would you like to see Exodus Cathedral? we can't go
past the barrier of thorns but I know a place where we can view it." He held
out his hand to Ryo.
Ryo took his hand and stood. "Saby.... does this mean that you and I will have
to... To fight each other?" he asked wishing that he would tell him no.
Sabyien sighed. "As it stands now the answer is no, but there are others... To
you and myself that we must defeat. We have demons inside us that are trying to
make sure that the sword is never used." he smiled at Ryo saying "It feels
weird knowing you're the one who could save or destroy the world doesn't it?"
Saby laughed a little
"That's not funny." Ryo bluntly retorted, Sabyien stopped laughing
"I know... I know it isn't... But you should know as well as anyone its better
to laugh than to cry right?"
Ryo's hand went instinctively to the pocket his will was in. Saby put an
armored arm around him "Don't worry Ryo. I will find away to save you."
"Thanks.... If I give up the sword willingly.... will I have to die?"
"I don't know. The bearers have all been a little....well.... bitchy about that
part. I've had to take it from them by force.... it sadly cost them their
lives...."
"You killed them?!" Ryo shouted backing away, a horrified and disgusted look on
his face. Saby shook his head.
"No. I did not kill them. they died of their own causes."
Ryo gave him a strange look then turned and continued walking.
"There is hope however, that you will live after all this is over. "
He pushed aside a branch and they saw it: Exodus Cathedral. White marble walls,
pale ivory towers that looked like something of of Tolkin's Lord of the Rings.
Ryo squinted, "How big is it?" The building seem very far away.
"It's very big....in fact, I don't think I've explored every room yet." Sabyien
shrugged. "Sorren must still be asleep." he said quietly.
Ryo heard, "Sorren? who's Sorren?"
Saby stepped closer to the edge of the cliff. "Oh, just my companion. Sorren
promised my father that I wouldn't be alone whenever I got back to Exodus." The
Guardian chuckled, "I think you know Sorren."
"What?"
Saby smiled, "Do you believe in reincarnation? Seth is the reincarnation of my
best friend Sorren the Vampire Lord of Ashaland."
"What!?" Ryo nearly jumped. "How could you know that?"
The Guardian winked at Ryo. "True friendship is Timeless and Forever. I
recognized the soul of my old friend when we first met."
"What about me, do I get reincarnated in every world?" Ryo asked him.
"Yeah....but your not so easy to find."
Sabyien pointed to the barrier of black thorns surrounding Exodus. "Every time
I 'die' I am allowed to enter the Cathedral. There, I write down everything I
experience during my last 'Life'. Sorren helps keep me company during that
time....and he keeps the books in good condition."
Sabyien smiled, "Is there anything else you want to know?"
"Will I be able to see you after you've saved your world?" Ryo asked then
blushed lowering his head. "Sorry if that sounds selfish..."
Saby laughed a little "Does this answer your question?" He pulled the boy to
him and into a kiss. He then backed away, or rather, tried to but Ryo held him
tightly. "Please don't... not yet. I just want to have this moment with you.
Just this one." he lay his head on Saby's shoulder. Sabyien smiled slightly and
put his arms around Ryo, holding him tightly. He decided then and there, no
matter what, he would make sure the boy lived. Heaven, hell, or the demons
within wouldn't stand in his way. The Guardian unfolded his wings and wrapped
them around the two of them. Ryo smiled up at him. "You were wrong. They are
angel's wings."
Sabyien held Ryo to him tightly. He felt so happy, in all his life he never
thought that it would happen. He wanted to go and run to Sorren, to wake that
blasted, annoying vampire and shout the news to him. It finally happened, I
am in love.
Then slowly, the knowledge of what must be done drowned the feelings of
happiness. Ryo felt it, "Sabyien, what's wrong?"
Sabyien pressed his lips to Ryo's ear. "Nothing's wrong...I just want...this
moment to last Forever."
Ryo didn't say anything he simply held onto Saby, the man he loved. he sighed
happily. "If all the other joys of life were to fade away. It would be a
blessing to be left with this." he whispered more to himself than to saby. he
looked up at him. Sabyien smiled down, he didn't want to disturb this time of
quiet bliss. he didn't know if or when another would come. he picked up ryo
gently and carried him further along the oath to the top of a ridge there they
sat watching the sun set, Ryo was seated in Saby's lap. eventually he nodded
off and slipped from the dreamscape to his own slumbering body. the two lay on
the bed curled up together soundly sleeping.

Seth opened the door to check on the two and smiled, he knew what had happened.
He walked over and after a few seconds of watching them walked out of the room
and lay down on the couch. he was about to fall asleep when there was a quiet
knock at the door. he stood up stiffly and opened the door. He gasped in
surprise.
"Miss me?" Aliah grinned cheerily her fangs glinted slightly in the hallway
light.
"Mistress Aliah." Seth whispered in shock. His vampire creator, he
automatically dropped to one knee in front of her.
Aliah smiled, "As always my darling Seth..." She stepped in and ran her hand
over Seth's head. Seth twitched at the touch. "Mistress, why are you here?"
"I came to see you, and that Boy....'Sabyien' his name was?"
When Seth didn't answer her, she pushed him over on his back and put a heeled
foot on his chest. "Mistress..." Seth protested, doing nothing to defend
himself.
Aliah snorted, "You just as pathetic as I remember." She brushed back the full
length of wavy auburn-brown hair. "Still playing the good vampire?"
Seth felt her heel dig into his flesh. "Their is no so called 'Good Vampire'..."
The woman let Seth get up. "Your right, then why are you with those humans?
when you should be with me.?"
Seth stared into his Mistress's ice-blue eyes. "Because...I don't want to be
like you."
"What's wrong with being a Vampire Seth? We are more powerful then they." She
said quietly. "We should be ruling them, not hiding in the darkness."
Seth shrugged her arm off. "And what would that serve? Plunge this world into
chaos?"
She sighed. "I can see that the Guardian has brainwashed you. But it's a small
problem that I'm sure you'll figure out. See you around my darling." Miss Aliah
left the room, blowing a kiss in Seth's direction. SEth didn't move till he was
sure that she was gone, then he closed the door, locking it.

------

"Shade...I need Shade..." Seth dropped into one of the deck chairs, the table's
umbrella shielded the Vampire from the sun. Ryo sipped his drink. It was 2 days
since they left the port. The 3 men had lived each day in utter bliss. Seth,
with the power of the holy-grail, could go out into the warm sun...but his
vampiric blood, he couldn't stand staying out in direct sunlight.
"Had enough sun, Seth?" Ryo asked, he was unsympathetic. Unlike Ryo, Seth had
lost his pale pallor, his skin glowed a golden caramel color.
"Are you 2 just gonna sit around the pool all day?" Sabyien asked, Young Jenga
was by his side. Sabyien had went swiming with her, he was dripping wet.
Sabyien's foot lightly brushing against Ryo's, "You look board, don't you want
to do something interesting?" there was just enough emphasis on the last word
to make Ryo blush.

Half an hour later, Ryo Sat in his room Drying himself off. he slipped on his
bathrobe and began to choose his next outfit for the rest of today.
Seth watched Sabyien as he prepared dinner for the others. The Guardian was
chopping vegetables for a salad. "Sabs, I have have been meaning to ask you....
How did you manage to impale Jenga?"
Saby gave a yelp of pain. He dropped the knife and held a bleeding finger in
his other hand. He turned to face Seth. "Lost of luck, guts and a
very 'friendly' vampire." Seth laughed, "I wish I could have seen that fight,
it must have been very difficult for you."
Sabyien stuck his tongue out at Seth, the vampire took Saby's hand a drew the
bleeding finger into his mouth. Sabyien froze, he could feel the suction as
Seth drank as much as he could from the shallow cut.

Ryo got dressed and walked into the small hallway. he prepared to knock on
Jenga's door when he stopped he could hear voices coming from the inside of the
little girls room.
"...And Then what happened?" asked little jenga excitedly. the voice of the
older woman responded
"That My Dear is a secret. Isn't it boy?" She said louder the door to The room
flew open. The two girls were sitting on the bed on the other side of the room,
the girls window was wide open.
"Wow! How'd you do that?1" Jenga gasped looking up at the elder. she smiled
down at her name sake
"I'm magic."
"Oooo! Can you teach me how?"
Ryo Bit his lip fearing the others would hear and stepped into the room
shutting the door behind him. "I don't know who you are but you shouldn't be in
here!"
"Oh Danielle calm down." she said calling him by one of the names he had had in
the past. Ryo immediately shut his mouth instinctively.
"His name isn't Danielle, he's ryo, my big brother."
"He is? well that explains a lot." the vampiress smiled, "Well Young ones. its
been fun but I must be going. Don't forget young lady to ask your father for
me." she then Exited out of the room confidently swinging her legs over the
window sill and donning he r sunhat walked away ryo leaned out the window and
watched her go around the corner the last he saw was the end of a taunting wave
and the ruffle of the pale blue sundress.
"What did she ask you to ask Seth?"
"To tell me the rest of the story, about the mean old vampire killers."
"We'd better go eat..."
Saby snatched his hand back as Jenga and Ryo came.
"Saby, what's for dinner?"
"Uh, chicken and salad." Sabyien dumped the vegetables into the bowl along with
with the lettuce.
"Hmm, Yummy, what's for dessert?" Jenga asked, getting onto one of the chairs.
"We're having ice-cream sundaes." Sabyien received a bright smile.
Sabyien joined Ryo and Jenga at the table. Seth stood by watching them eat.
"Papa, aren't you eating?"
Seth shook his head, "I'll have my dinner later sweetie." The vampire shot a
questioning look to Sabyien, Saby gave a brief nod. Ryo was too busy reading
one of the comic books to notice the by-play.
"Papa? Tall you tell me about the Vampire killer?"
Seth tensed. "Jenga? What are you talking about? There's no such thing as a
vampire hunter. Or vampires for that matter. So dig in, better eat before your
dinner gets cold.
"Aww But Daddy, Your Friend told me they were real."
"Who?"
"Jenga."
Seth Froze.
Sabyien put down the fork. "What did she tell you?"
"That nice Lady told me a story about a vampire killer that was very mean, she
said that he went after the kind ones."
Seth patted her hair. "Honey, that was just a story...not all stories are true."
Lil'Jenga blinked, then smiled. "Ok, Daddy." she put her clean plate down. "Now
can I have Ice-cream, Saby?"
Ryo put down the comic "I'm full." he picked up his cleared plate and Jenga's
and carried them into the kitchen.
Seth shook his head as if resolving a thought. "You know when i was little I
believed in all that sorta stuff Jenga. but when i grew up someone lied to me
saying they weren't real. so you believe whatever you want to ok?"
"Ok Daddy. Did you know the older lady's magic. She could move stuff without
touching it. it was really cool looking!"
"Really Sabyien asked looking up at Seth as if saying 'How you gonna explain
that.' Seth glanced at Sabyien before answering, "Well, there are some very
special people who can do those kinds of things. Like Sabyien, he can fly."
Jenga brightened. "Can you really fly? Saby?"
The Guardian finished his drink. "Yes I can Jenga..."
"Show me!"
Sabyien frowned, "Not now..."
"Please?"
Seth kept from snickering, He won't be able to refuse her...
He looked into her pleading eyes, then sighed. "Come here Jenga..." He held out
his arms and Jenga ran into them. Now just a little
His feet lifted off the carpet....he slowly turned in mid air. "Wow! we're
flying!" Sabyien hovered above the floor for a moment longer before coming to a
landing beside the coffee table. He put her down, wiping his face, it was
difficult to float in that air without his wings. "There now....you want that
Ice-cream now?"
"Yeah!" Jenga was looking at Sabyien with glittering eyes.
Ryo leaned on the counter he watched Sabyien float across the floor with an
amused grin. "careful for the ceiling fan Saby." he said. there was a knock at
the door. the boy sighed and walked to the door "Hello can we help you?" there
was a messenger waiting they handed him an envelope with Saby's name neatly
handwritten on it in calligraphy. "Saby, Its for you."
Saby read the words of the letter to himself then tore the note in half and
threw it into the garbage.
"Something wrong Saby-kins?" Seth asked as he put a bowl in front of Jenga who
dug in hungrily.
The guardian sighed running his right hand through his hair flicking it
aside. "Our Lady friend was inviting you and I to her cabin for a visit."
Seth frowned, "We'll refuse, there's no need to add more trouble on this trip."

Later that night, Seth was putting Jenga to bed. Sabyien was getting ready to
take a bath. He wondered if he should invite Ryo...He smiled. "Yeah right."
He left the door partly open anyway.
Saby climbed into the warm water and let out a relaxing sigh. almost like
clockwork Ryo walked in, he looked at saby then his hand shot to the side of
his face and he blushed readily. "Don't mind me.... I just need to brush my
teeth."
"Its alright." Saby said shutting his eyes. "Nothing there you haven't seen
before." he draped a moist face cloth over his eyes and sighed. Glad that he
was submerged in water.
"Saby you know when we were at the hotel, when you asked me about the dream I
didn't remember.... I lied."
Saby tensed "You remember?"
"Yes. it was a sex Dream about you and I, not something I'd forget that easily."
Saby didn't say anything, luckily his face was covered....he was blushing big
time. "R-really?" He tried to keep his voice neutral.
The guardian tried to keep his mind busy, from remembering that dream.
Ryo scrubbed his teeth but was able to speak around the hard object in his
mouth to describe to Saby what went on in the dream to the best detail he
could. "....And That's when I woke up. Crazy huh?"
"Uh... Yeah... Sabyien sunk lower in the water he was turned on and tried
desperately to hide it, the clearness of the water doing little to aid him. Ryo
yawned. "Well I'm off to bed." he left Saby curled up grunting in the water.
'Damn Sex bastard!' he screamed mentally.
"Who? me?" Seth asked leaning into the door way he then leaned back looking at
Ryo go into his room. "Sabyien you still want someone to teach you?" he asked
with a smirk and a wink.
"Get out."
"Would like to but we have an agreement with my...'dinner'?"
Sabyien sighed, "Alright, just give me a moment." When Seth closed the door,
Saby got out and wrapped a a towel around his waist. He grabbed another towel
to dry his hair. When he was reasonably dry, he found Seth waiting in his
room. "Lock the door, I don't want Jenga walking in and seeing this."
Sabyien locked the door, he pulled up one of his shirt sleeves. But Seth shook
his head. Blood drawn from the limbs tend to taste a bit stale, Seth brushed
the damp hair from Sabyien's neck, running the silk-smooth stands though his
fingers before pressing his lips to the Guardian's throat.
Saby gasped when he felt the vampire pierce through the skin. He bit his lip,
This....doesn't feel the same as before... When Seth began to suck, his mind
swam.
Seth was growling in pleasure, he could make his Vampiric kiss painful or feel
very good. It was the lest he could do, he knew that there was no-way that he
could win his heart.
Sabyien's breath came in ragged gasps. He was trying to figure out why this
bite felt so different...."Seth..." he groaned.
The Guardian slowly went limp in Seth's arms. The vampire licked the wounds
closed, he carried the limp form to the bed. Seth brushed aside a stray lock of
hair from the sleeping face. He bent in closer, "I love you" he whispered to
the sleeping young man, then lightly kissed those gently parted lips.

Seth slumped down on the couch a moment later, he wondered what that woman had
written in her letter. He made his way to the garbage can, he fished out the
torn up parts of the letter.
'To My Dearest Sabyien,' it began 'I wish for you and My Servant Seth to join
me in my Chamber Tonight. Do not bring the others. I Await you, Sincerely Lady
Jenga of Onlescent Aka Aliah Sherase'

Seth walked quickly down the hall, he ignored everyone else in his way
following the vampiress's scent. he came to her door and knocked. the door
opened. the cabin within was bathed in darkness. "Come in." the woman called in
a coy and mocking way. Seth entered shutting the door behind him. "You wished
to see me Madam?" he asked his eyes adjusting quickly to the darkness. he could
see her laying out on the bed wearing next to nothing she took a deep drink of
what looked like wine before answering "No, But you will do. Sit boy."
Seth Obediently Sat. She still had a strong hold on him as his maker, no matter
how he tried to resist she would have her way.
"Seth, I want you to crawl over here." She said. Seth had no choice but obey
her, when he was close enough, She pulled his face close to hers. "Tell me
slave, did you enjoy the Guardian? I can smell him al over you."
"Yes, I did my Lady."
"How did he taste like?" She kissed him, her tongue dipping into his mouth
tasting the blood there. "Hmm....he's not quite human is he?"
"No, my Lady."
"What is he?"
Seth frowned, He didn't want to tell her anything about Sabyien.
She ran her fingers in his hair. "That young boy who's with him....he's a Saint
isn't he?"
"Yes, he is, my Lady."

Seth felt a chill craw up his spine, No, not that! The last time he'd seen her
drink the blood of a Saint, she slaughtered a town of over 1000 people.
"Hmmm... It has been a long time since I have tasted the blood of a saint..."
"Please don't my lady." Seth begged. Fearing the plot in her mind. "Do not feed
on them.... They are not worthy of it...."
"Who are you to tell me who to feed on?" she asked shoving him back. he fell
onto his back she stood over him smiling in an almost sweet way.she tucked some
loose hair behind her ears. "You aren't hording their blood to yourself are
you? That's not very Kind Sethy." She crouched down towards him, her hands
playing across the inside of her thighs. "Tell me the truth, Remember You lie
to me you die by me." she put her foot on his throat gently. "So tell me."
Seth was trembling inside, he tried not to show it. She would punish him worse
he showed any fear. "Did you drink from the Saint?" She asked.
"Yes I have ...my Lady."
"Did you enjoy it?" She was smiling down at him. "I think you must have enjoyed
it, the power drinking that pure blood, it brings such satisfaction." She
knelt, pressing one knee to his groin. Seth tensed, he felt her hands pull his
shirt open then caressing. "Mistress Jen...."
"That is not my name anymore, Call me Aliah. "
"Mistress, ...please don't..." He fought to keep from crying out when she bit
into a nipple.
A warm shudder went through his body. Her tongue licked and prodded, teasing
more of his blood through the small wound. The hot pressure at his groin grew,
she reached down with a knowing hand. He writhed beneath her, helpless to stop
himself. Seth hated himself for reacting this way....Had he no will power?
"Seth....My wonderful Seth." She lay atop him, her lips seeking his. "My most
precious Slave..."
At her kiss, Seth tasted her blood, it was filling his mouth. He tried to
pulled away, knowing that drinking her blood would enthrall him to do her every
bidding, like an automon. She held his head with both hands, forcing him to
drink.
Blood tears ran down his face as he drank from her. He prayed...
She sat up, certain that Seth was, once again, hers. The vampire Aliah sat back
on the bed waiting..."Seth, come to me."
The vampire-thrall obediently went to his Mistress, Seth's green eyes empty,
void of emotions.

Aliah smiled as seth mindlessly obeyed. he stopped in front of her his eyes
staring blankly into space. "On your knees." she ordered he knelt down. She
pushed some stray hair. away from his face. "Your all mine. I've missed you
Dearly."
"And I you My Lady." his voice was faint and ghostly. with a soulless monotony.
she pulled him to her laying his head in her lap
"Good boy. Now Show me the reason why i turned you to my kind."

Sabyien yawned and sat up, the morning sunlight seeped through the curtains.
Walking into the living room, he saw Ryo and Jenga on the couch watching TV.
He blinked. "Did you see Seth this morning?"
Ryo popped a chip in his mouth. "No, you've slept in late ,Saby. It's almost
1:00pm! "
Sabyien smiled, "I slept like a log...." He went to see if there was something
to eat for lunch. Seth would eventually turn up.

"Where's Papa? " The little girl was swinging her legs from atop the counter.
Ryo lifted her to the floor. "I don't know."
"Can we go look for him." she asked hopefully.
"I don't think so, it almost time for you to go to bed." Ryo frowned. "I could
ask Saby to go look for him, how about that?"
Jenga nodded.
Sabyien came back from one of the restaurants, carrying a pizza. Ryo waited
until he put the pizza on the table, "Sabyien, would you go look for Seth? We
haven't seen him all day and Jenga is getting fussy." Saby blinked at him. "He
still didn't come back?" he pulled his coat back on. "Ok, I'll go look, try to
get Jenga to bed, it's late."
Sabyien sighed, He'd been allover the ship, no trace of the wayward Vampire. He
decided to go back to the suite and report him missing. Where are you, Seth? it
not like you just to leave... He stopped in on the walkway. Seth was standing
on the deck looking out to the sea. Sabyien stomped closer. 'Where have you
been? Jenga's been asking for you all day!- " He stopped again, Seth was
dressed strangely. Tight leather pants. A ruffled shirt that was made out of a
black -very- sheer material, showing skin underneath. He wore what looked like
a dog's collar around his neck, on his wrists....metal manacles?
"Seth?" he asked hesitantly. The vampire only nodded, then began to walk
towards the suite. Sabyien followed, he had this very strange feeling that
something was wrong.
He felt a twang of concern when Seth opened the door. "Wait Seth." Sabyien
stopped him going in. "What happened to you? I was looking all over for you....."
Just then, Ryo came out of Jenga's room, he had put her to bed and she was
finally asleep. He noticed Seth and Sabyien at the door. "Seth? why are
you...?" Before he could act, the vampire kicked Sabyien back out to the
hallway, and whipped out a length of fine steel-wire. "Saby- " Ryo's cry was
cut short as the wire wrapped around his neck like a lasso. With expert
control, the Vampire had Ryo tied up on the floor. The door opened, Sabyien was
holding his stomach were he had been kicked. "Seth, what are you doing?" His
eyes widened when Seth looked his way. "My Lady will see you both now." his
voice sounded hollow.
The guardian scowled, "It's that woman, She's done something to you hasn't she?"
Seth did not answer, he lifted Ryo from the floor and forced him to walk
towards the door. "Walk ahead of me, do as I say, or the Saint will die."
Sabyien clenched his hands in frustration, there was nothing he could do. He
didn't want to kill Seth, but he just couldn't let Ryo die either. "Sabyien..."
Ryo croaked, his throat raspy. The Guardian gave Ryo an encouraging
look. "It...it will be alright Ryo."
With Seth guiding them, they made there way to one of the upper decks, it was a
little cool outside.
"The Guardian and the Saint....you've done well my Servant." The vampire woman
stepped out from the shadows. Seth answered with, "Thank you , My Lady."
"You! I should have known. What did you do to Seth?!" Sabyien demanded angrily.
Aliah smiled at the Guardian, "Nothing, I just wanted my Servant back."
"YOU BITCH!" Saby shouted He glared at the woman. he started towards the woman
"Ah-ah-ah." she said wagging her finger. "I don't think you will. that is if
you want your friends to live." she flicked her hair over her shoulder. "You
have a choice Guardian. Become my husband for all of eternity or cost yourself
the ones you love. Seth." she snapped her fingers Seth gave the wires a quick
flick Ryo was swung over the side of the boat he was dangerously close to one
of the ships submerged propellers. seth climbed mindlessly over the railing.

"And of course we can't forget the girl." she smiled. a second vampire servant
came out onto the deck with the girl help in his arms she struggled
desperately. "Saby!" She cried pathetically.
"So what do you choose? The deaths of those you love or becoming my servant and lover?"
Saby smirked a little "This is pathetic. you cant get a man to love you without
taking hostages. your a fun date." his voice dripping with sarcasm.
Aliah looked insulted. "So you choose their Deaths?"
Saby pretended like he didn't care. "There will be other Sword bearers. And I
doubt this will be the last I see of Seth. As for the Girl.... She was just
some orphan. A dime a dozen."
"SABY!" Jenga cried. "YOU MEANIE!"
Aliah smiled "Oh your playing that game. Pretend like they're unimportant stall
for time until you can figure how to save them. Sorry That won't work babe."
"Can you blame me for trying?" Saby asked a smile on his lips as he unfurled
his wings slightly and plucked a single feather then hid them again. he brought
the feather up in front of his face. "I'm sorry but I'll have to turn your
offer down. My heart belongs to another." He then threw the feather at her, it
spiraled through the air and landed on the ground between them
"What was the point of that."
"To distract you." he smiled Cutting off her head with a single lash of his
ribbon. he looked down at her headless corpse. "See you in the morning." he
looked over at Seth. "You back to normal?" Seth turned
"GET ME UP!" Ryo screamed.
The Vampire holding Jenga blinked."Mistress....?" He dropped the girl, Jenga
ran to Seth. "Papa?" Seth frowned, He pulled Ryo back up. "Sorry about that."
he untied Ryo. Ryo was about to yell at him, when he noticed that Seth wasn't
returned to normal, He tried to yell out a warning.....too late. Seth whipped
the wire towards Saby. Sabyien had just barely time to move when the wire
slashed a long ragged gash in the floor.
Jenga screamed, "Papa!" But he ignored her, he was after the Guardian.
"Ryo, RUN!!" Sabyien yelled, avoiding another blow. Ryo scooped up Jenga and
ran.
Ryo ran as fast as he could. Jenga shouted looking up at him. "Ryo stop we have
to help Papa."
"We can't Seth's not quite right in the heard right now. Saby will fix him....
I hope."
"We can't just leave him." ashe struggled. not listening she shouted "Lemme Go!"
"No Jenga. We have to get Away."
"Papa!" She shouted again she swung her leg and kicked ryo in the groin he fell
letting go of her she ran back. "Papa I'm Coming!"
Jenga pushed her way out of the hallway she opened the door she stopped as she
saw the two looked in combat "Daddy! Uncle Saby. Stop it! Please Stop!" She Ran
foreword Crying.
Seth was preparing to attack Saby again.
Sabyien heard Jenga's voice and with horror realized that she would get hurt.
He dove for her, sending them both in a tumble. The deadly swish of the wire
was followed by Saby's scream of pain. A gash along his back bled on the deck
freely. "Saby?" Jenga was looking up at the Guardian's face. He gritted his
teeth against the pain, "Jenga....don't worry, I'll get your 'Papa' back."
The other Vampire slave, seeing his chance, charged towards them. Sabyien heard
him coming, and still holding Jenga, he out a hand and performed a quick
summoning spell. ** SERAPHIM FLAME!! ** A beam of white-hot fire erupted from
his palm. The unfortunate vampire was engulfed in flame, he dove off the ship
screaming.
Sabyien panted, there was no way he could do another magic attack like that, he
was getting Tired. There must be a way to...
"You cannot win Guardian..." The voice came from that Vampire woman. Sabyien
growled. How many times do I have to kill her.? he winced when he heard her say
the next order. "....If I can't have you, then no-one else will! Seth, Finish
him!" Aliah screamed.
Seth whipped the wire, this time aiming to kill. Sabyien jumped back with
Jenga, but he was slow with the extra weight, the razor tip of the wire
flicked, opening a shallow wound along Saby's left cheek. Sabyien didn't have
the time to cry out.....Several more cuts appeared on his body turned his
clothing to ribbons. At last, Seth seemed to have stopped. Too hurt ot move,
Sabyien still held Jenga protectively close, she was unharmed. "Seth..."

The vampire had the silver wire wrapped around one hand, he was going to finish
the Guardian off with his bare hands. When Seth started to walk towards
Sabyien, Saby shoved Jenga out of the way. He put both hands up for a final,
desperate attack. ** SERAPHIM FLAME!! ** summoning what little strength he had.
Seth easily dodged the fire, Sabyien's breath came in ragged gasps....he was
totally done for. Jenga watched with wide eyes watched as Seth came closer and
picked Saby up by what was left of his shirt. Sabyien was looking directly into
Seth's face. "Seth, please stop this.....your scaring Jenga...." At her name,
Saby thought he saw a flicker in his eyes, He continued. "Seth, come on....she
needs you....I need you." he grunted in the vampire's grip.
The light in Seth's eyes glimmered as he looked at the pained face of the
Guardian. Blood from the cut ran down the side of his chin. Seth pulled him
closer, Sabyien closed his eyes, waiting for the bite that would drain his life.
Seth licked along the cut, sampling the blood, slowly he eased Sabyien to his
feet. When Sabyien felt the vampire let go of him, he opened his eyes a crack.
The Vampire Seth was on his knees before him!
"Seth?! What are you doing? I told you to finish him!!" Aliah screamed at him.
Sabyien had to smile.
"Master, what do you wish of me?" Seth asked Sabyien,
Sabyien's smile grew wider, more wicked, "Help me to kill that Vampire Woman."
"Sorry boys." Aliah Called out mockingly, move vampire servants had
appeared. "Looks like we're calling this a night. But I wont Be leaving alone."
She snapped her fingers a servant help up Ryo, he was subdued but unharmed.
"Drop him Bitch or else."
"Or else what?" she asked calling his bluff. "Meet me in Madrid Spain in 3 days
with my sethy If you want this boy to live." with that and an evil female laugh
the vampires disappeared in a cloud of smoke. the woman's laughter echoing on
the wind.
"Dammit!" Saby swore. he slammed his fist down on the deck causing the whole
ship to rock. "I was supposed to protect him and he slipped through my
fingers!" hot tears ran down his face. Seth stood beside him inert jenga was
trying to get him to talk to her and say that everything was alright but he
remained mute. Saby stood. "Madrid." he echoed. "I'll be there."
Sabyien's knees were shaking when he got up. "Seth, Jenga Let's go follow
follow them!"
He took a step forwards when Jenga stopped him. "Uncle Saby, your hurt..."
Tears were forming in her eyes. Saby took another step but grabbed for Seth
when his right leg gave out. He stood on one leg. "I suppose I do need a bit of
time to heal. Come on...back to the room." Leaning on Seth, Sabyien made it
back to the room. There, he set Seth down on the couch ordering him to remain
there until morning. Jenga volunteered to help Sabyien bind his wounds.
Sabyien wasn't too sure of Seth's behavior, so he brought Jenga into his room,
she was fast asleep on the mattress on the floor. Sleep didn't come so easy to
the Guardian.
"Why couldn't I protect him?" Saby muttered under his breath angrily. he sat on
the bed "Dammit... I should have...." he ran his fingers through his hair. He
sighed. "I'm not cut out to be a guardian... I failed...." he sniffed and wiped
his eyes, 'And now Ryo's gone.' he swallowed. he lay back on the bare box
spring mattress looking up at the ceiling, his memory replayed the first sword
bearer he had protected, then the next, and so forth it made him sick to think
about it. the women he had in effect lead to slaughter, the boy he loved....
Seth... he sat up. and went to the door pulling it open "Seth Wake up!" the
Thrall opened his eyes obediently awaiting his next order.
"Yes sir?"
"I command you as your master to return to your normal state before we got on
the ship."
Seth simply sat, Saby waited
"As it is done...."
Sabyien breathed a sigh of relief.
"....My Lord."
Saby slapped a hand to his face. Oh bother, With his fingers on his face he
noticed that the cut there was gone. The Guardian thought that it must have
been Seth's healing touch that did that.

The boy was slowly coming to, at first he could see nothing but darkness. All
around him he could feel nothing but the leathery touch of batwings and the
cold breeze they cast , he sleepily rubbed his eyes and looked around. He saw
humans... but they looked more like bats than anything, he yawned again "Still
dreaming."
"I'm afraid not." one of the bats turned it's head towards him, Ryo sucked in a
fearful breath. It was Aliah's head clutched in another bat's feet. He screamed
and flailed his arms forcing the bats that held him to loose their grip he fell
through the night the ocean water rushing up to greet him like his Aunt Marsha
at the family picnics like when he was young, but not as easy to escape. He
felt razor sharp claws dig into his flesh and his fall ended.
"Now, now, Kid don't get excited, we won't hurt you to badly" the vampire that
clutched him laughed. "Unless the stupid guardian doesn't do as he's told."
"Hey! Shut up the suns coming up!" The lead bat that carried Aliah's body
called "We're going to have to roost for the day."
At that the fliers plummeted towards a small Island Ryo curled into a ball and
cried out. the bat dropped him onto the ground from a few feet up, he hit his h
head on the loose sand of the beach hard blacking out again.
