Several days later, seth walked into the gym. Just as he thought, 
Sabyien was there, throwing a few punches and kicks into a punching 
bag in the corner. The fighting stle was a combination of 
kick-boxing and karate.  The vampire watched unnoticed until the 
young man was done. 
Sabyien took a few breathes and flexed his shoulders. 
"Feeling better? 
Saby truned, "Yes, I'm back in shape." 

"That's good. we were getting worried that you were going to get 
soft." seth walked over and prodded Sabyiens Sweatty torso. 
Sabyien sighed pulling on his shirt wincing slightly. "Seth don't." 
"Alright." seth shook his head. "Still tender eh?" 
"Yes." 

Sabyien put the equipment away, "How's Jenga doing in her new 
school?" 
"Oh...She likes it." Seth frowned. "Say's public school is much 
better for her." 
Saby had to smile , "It is...better to have a normal upbringing as 
she can." 

Seth Nodded. "But was it right... to clear her memory abut what 
happened?" 
Saby sighed. "We wanted her to live a normal life. She couldn't have 
that if she knew." 
"But even so thats a significant part of her life." 
"And one best left forgotten.Trust me seth it was something we had 
to do." 

Ryo Came down Carrying a tray with two mugs of tea. "Oh seth, you're 
home..." 

Ryo put the tray down nearby. "So how did the meeting go?" 
Seth greeted Ryo with a smile. "...it was just some bussiness with 
cleaning up Jenga's old school. and it's repair bills." The vampire 
swept Ryo into a kiss. "I missed you." 
Sabyien took his teacup."Seth, you've away only for a few hours...." 

Seth chuckled still holding Ryo in the akward position. "Well 
Absense does make the hart grow fonder." 
"I think Something else is growing." Ryo Shut his eyes blushing. 
"Seth How many times do we have to tell you. tight pants are bad." 

"You man how meany times you've told him." Sabyien blushed slightly, 
"I've never remembered complaining about it."  He was smiling, 
eyeing Seth's j-rocker pants.

Ryo blushed. "But I have company comming." He tried to stand up and 
instead fell to the floor with a grunt. "Ow." 
"Who's comming?" Sabyien asked. 
"A few friends." Ryo said getting up. 

"Oh? from where?" Seth asked 
"From the university." 
"Are you going to introduce us to them?" 
Sabyien smiled, "Come on Seth," he took the vampire's arm. "Shower 
with me....Ryo. we'll be down as soon as we can." 
"Ok." Ryo smiled. Standing up."Well please just behave yourselves, 
Lind's the only one that... knows about us." 

They both nodded. 
An hour later; Seth, feeling refreshed, came down to see Ryo in deep 
conversation with  a few students from the university. 
Sabyien was still upstairs dressing and to make to sure that they 
wouldn't give any clue what they had did. 
"Ryo, Who are your companions?" Seth asked. 

Ryo Made introductions. "This is Millie, and Alexander," He 
indicated an attractive obviously spirited girl and a rather Dark 
and dreary youth. "Lina And Sam." A girl was bent deeply engrossed 
in a book, next to someone whom seth wasn't certain was a guy or a 
girl. "Richard and Stella." The tolken jock and Feminist. Ryo smiled 
up at seth. 

"I'm pleased to meet you." Seth gave them a nodd, they all smiled 
and said theri thanks. all but Sam who was openingly staring at him. 
Seth tried to ignore it. "Your not human are you?" Sam asked. 
Er... Seth's perfectly maked face hid his reaction. 
Sabyien's timing was perfect, he came in with a tray of chips and 
dip for the guests. 

Seth Looked at him. "Sabyien, Are the drinks ready?" He asked. 
"No, would you please our out." 
"I can do it." Ryo stud seth sat him back down. 
"No you keep an eye on your friends. it would be rude if you left 
them alone with two strangers." 

Seth left to get the drinks. Sabyien took his place on the couch 
beside Ryo. The girl introduced to him as  Stella was smiling at 
him. "Your pretty," She said. Saby smiled a bit weary. 'no again' he 
thought, he noticed  Richard put an arm around her almost 
possesivly. 

Ryo Tried his hardest not to lean into Sabyien. Lina looked up. "So 
Ryo, Who's the hottie?" 
"My name is Sabyien" 
Alexander sighs in a deeply saddend way. "Figures Ryo Would pick the 
beautiful men. Leaving nothing for the rest of us." Ryo froze 
tensely. The youth continues. "Its a pity he's not interested in 
men." The youth relaxed. Sabyien sighed. this was getting 
rediculous. 

Sabyien glanced at Ryo, 'maybe you should tell them' was the 
unspoken thought. 

"Tch Shut up Alexander. Not Every man is a faggot like you." the 
Tolken jock snarked. laughing loudly. 
Ryo Looked down. "That's not funny." The offense heavy on his voice. 

Sabyien frowned, "Not everyman choses to whom to fall in love 
with...it just happens." he said evenly. 
That was when Lina noticed the gold ring on Sabyien's finger, she 
had stayed quiet, silently observing Sabyien from over the edge of 
her book.  "Your married?" She asked him. 
Sabyien looked away, suddenly unsure. "Y-yes, I am.." 
Ryo flushed, Sabyien never took off the wedding band. 

"So Whats her name? She a sweet peice of ass?" Richard asked 
smirking. 
Ryo was now turning bright red shutting his eyes and trying to hide. 
"Actually." Sabyien started. "-His- Ass is none of your concern." 
The guardian had his fill. 
"What?!" Richard stood up and pointing at Sabyien. "You're a fucking 
fag?! I sat on you're couch I probably Got You're Gay on me!" 
Sabyien Stood up with an indignant little huff. "I will have you 
know Richard First of all it is not infectios secondly its not a 
disease, thirdly we don't do that on the couch." He reached over and 
grabbed him by the front of his shirt. "I think its about time you 
left young man." 

"Sabyien, I don't think it's right just to throw out one of Ryo's 
guests." Seth came in wine bottle in hand. "Unless that's what Ryo 
wants. " He looked over and the still red-faced boy sitting on the 
couch. 

The boy sat on the couch trying not to cryRichard freed himself from 
Sabys grip. "I Should go anyway before I got anymore Fag on me." He 
then sauntered out Cocky and Calm. Mina looked at the others. 
"We're friends with him... Why?" 

Everyone else seemed uncomfortable. Sabyien sat back down, hetooks 
Ryo's hand. "Are you ok?'

Ryo nodded. "Yeah... I'm fine." He was quiet and tried to calm down. 
H put on a small uncertain smile. "I wish i was as brave as you 
Sabyien." He looked at the others and cuddled against the man for 
the first tome the others could see his wedding ring. 
Lina smiled. "So thats your little secret eh?" Ryo nodded. "Awww. 
Thats cute." She beamend. 

Millie frowned "When did this happen? and why wasn't I invitied?" 
"It was a privte ceremony" Sabyien said, feeling more relaxed now 
that the difficult part was over. 
Seth put the wine bottle down. "Don't let one person ruin your fun, 
would you like a tour of the house?" He asked the vistors. 

The group agreed. Seth smiled. "Wonderful. I'll lead the way." He 
smiled brightly. 

There where some "oohs" and "ahhs" when Seth showed them the 
theater-room, the screen covered one entire wall the deep plush 
couches and the personal snack-bar in the corner. Seth was enjoying 
himself explaning how it worked "The prjector is in the back of the 
screen, we have a DVD library in that wall over there." 
Alexander was standing in the back of the group, "You let Ryo board 
here?" he asked suitbly impressed. Seth nodded. 
The young man looked at him. "Would you consider letting others bord 
here?" 

Seth Smiled. "Maybe. If you can pay the rent." 
"How much is it?" 
"$250 a month." 
Alexander whisled, "That's not much considering that an apartment is 
about $300 a month" 
"Your a friend of Ryo's so I'll amke an exception." 

"Thanks." Alexander smiled. "I'd like to become you're friend too." 
He smiled at seth in an almost flirtatious way. 

Seth was charmed by Alexander's attention, he kept his smile even, 
the thought of baiting this young man was tempting. 'Later' he 
thought to himself. 
During the rest of the tour Alexander stayed near Seth, and the 
older man was quietly courting his attention offten his eyes would 
catch Alexander's holding it in a almost hipnotic gaze. 

From the side Sabyien noticed this, but he wasn't worried....he'd 
get worried if Seth invited the young man to stay the night. 

They continued the tour showing off the kitchens, dining hall, the 
bedrooms, all of the house. They reentered the sitting room. "And 
thats our humble home." 
"What time is it?" Millie asked looking out the window it was well 
after nightfall. 
"Ah..." Alexander started. "Richard was supposed to be my ride 
home..." 
Seth smiled at him. "I'm sure you can be arranged for." 

Sabyien looked up to give Seth a  warning look, but he vampire 
wasn't even facing his way. 

Seth Turned around. "But not tonight, I fear our vehicles are being 
serviced at the moment." His Actions seemed to carry a sort of 
gratuitous flair. strangely overt and dramatic, even for him. 

His hand twiched, this was a lie, Sabyien was sure of it. They had 5 
cars in the garage. "I could Call a taxi for you." He volenterred 

"I live too far out of town." Alex explained. "I don't want to cost 
you the money." 

"Then that settles it." Seth clapped his hands together, looking at 
Alex"I'll tell the house maids to perpare one of the guest rooms for 
tonight." There was a hint of a promise in that last word. 

Akex actually smiled. "Thank you." 
Sabyien twitched. "Seth... May I please speak with you a minute." It 
was more a command than a request. the others could see the well 
kept anger in sabyiens eyes. The vampire let out a weakend little 
wince and whispered to ryo. 
"If I don't comback alive you;re the man of the house." 
To which ryo whispered. "You're already dead." 

Once they where well out of earshot, Sabyien let his anger 
lose."What are you thinking?" he said loudly, "Oh I know what your 
thinking of!" his hand went down to grab the front of Seth's pants. 
"Thinking with this again!" 
Seth made a small sound of pain as Sabyien grabed him. 

Sabyien pulled himclose using his groin. "Remember Who you married." 
His eyes staring tin seths the blue piercing into seths deep green. 
The vampire leaned in and kissed him. "I know. But the boy seems 
lonely, is it wrong to want to help the needy?" 

He stared into Seth's eyes, it was true, Seth wanted for Ryo's 
happiness as well. Sabyien let go of Seth.  "Alright his firend can 
stay...but keep away from him Seth." 

"And if he comes on to me?" 
"That won't happen." Sabyen walked past him back to where the others 
were seaed. 
Seth looked down. "Well look at the trouble you got us into now." He 
reached down and repositioned himself before walking back to the 
others. 

Most of the visitors where talking to Ryo. Stella was trying to 
convice Ryo to hold a party here. "But it's perfect. You've got a 
pool and everything." 
Sabyien was smiling, that was an idea.
ryo rubbed the back of his neck "I don't know...." He looked at 
sabyien and seth. "What do you two think?" 

Seth smiled, "I don't mind that idea. it's been awhile since we've 
held a house party here." he didn't comment that knight's formal 
parties where as intresting as the meetings. 
Saby didn't comment, he just shrugged, he would go with whatever 
they did. 

Stella and millie began to chat happilly about the potential party, 
whayt they should wear, bring, should they invite boyfriends, Should 
they GET boyfirends. Ryo turned to seth and Sabyien. "Are you really 
sure about this?" 
"As long as seth keeps his cabinet locked we should be good." 

Seth snorted. "The kids are not going to get into anything....not 
when I'm around." Sabyien scraced his head, "I guess I can handle 
the music and catering....What kinds of things do kids do these days 
Ryo?" 

Ryo Shrugged. "Dance, Chat, eat, watch movies, Play stupid games 
like truth or dare, spin the bottle..." He listed them off to 
sabyien. As they were talking Alexander mde his way to seth. 
"Ummm... could you show me where the bathrooms are again?" 

"they are right this way..." Seth moved to showe Alex where they 
were. but Sabyien had reacthed out and grabed Seth's arm. 
"The bathroom's just right of you when you exit this hallway. the 
third door down" Saby said quickly. 

Alex nods. "thank you." He walked off. 
"I was just going to show him to the bathroom." 
"I trust you seth." Sabyien let his hand go knowing that would be 
certain that would shut him down. 

Seth's shoulders drooped, he stayed to listen to Ryo make his 
suggestions for the party. 
"It's getting late." Lina said, picking up her jacket. "We should be 
heading home." 
Sabyien walked them all to the door. "Ryo's friends are all welcome 
to come anytime. Goodnight." 

As the others pulled from the yard Seth yawned. "Well its late... i 
think i'm going to turn in..." 

"Right away?" Sabyien asked him, He slipped an arm around Seth, hand 
going down low. he was going to keep Seth with him all night if he 
had too. 

Ryo yawned. "I'm pretty tired too..." He yawned and started off 
towards bed. 

Seth grined. "Your not goint o join us Ryo?" 
"let the boy sleep Seth" Sabyien said. "Hmm.....I'll even let you 
tie me up if you want Seth." 
Encouraged by the guardian's words, Seth followed Sabyien to the 
bedroom. 

Ryo yawned walking into Seths bedroom to sleep. He climbed into bed 
naive to hungry looking eyes in the darkness. the form ghosted to 
the bed gliding towards him, alex's voice whispered. "Mmmm.... the 
vampire is finally alone..." 

Ryo froze, sensing another in the room with him. He looked into the 
dark room, unable to see a thing. 

Seth was undressing Saby, kissing his way across the young mans' 
body. 

 Ryo turned on the light there was nthing in the room there was 
nothing to be seen. He shrugged and turned off the light laying down 
nodding off. The shadow slipped from behind seths cuppboard. "My 
vampire...." 

Ryo sunuggled intot he covers, trying to quell the feeling of being 
watched. 

"Seth, wait." Sabyien stoped Seth. "............." 
"What is it Saby?" 
"I don't know.......It's just a feelign that...." 

"Don't worry... I'll be gentle." Seth smiled pulling off sabyiens 
clothing going to bind his hands. 
Alex formed into his solid human form standing over the sleeping ryo 
unable to see him in the asolute darkness of seths bedroom. 

His heart was pounding, no, something was wrong. Sabyien tensced, he 
pulled away. "No Seth!" 
The vampire looked suprised. 

Ryo lifted his head, hearing Saby cry out from the next room.  In 
the dark, Alex forze. 'Seth? wasn't he in here?' he thought to 
himself. 

Ryo Got up from the bed and moved quickly to Sabyiens bedroom Alex 
followinfg closely in his mysty sadowy form. 

Sabyien felt the tenstion melt away at the sight of Ryo walking into 
the room. He didn't know why but... 
"So, have you desided to join us Ryo?" Seth asked the boy. 
"N-no. I was just comming to see what the commotion was..." he shook 
his head and pulled the door closed. 
Alex sighed quietly to himself thinking 'Tommorow night then.' 

Sabyien yawned. He was tired this morning, He drank his coffee in 
one long glup.  Ryo came down to the breafast table and helped 
himself to Oj and pancakes. 
"Where's Seth this morning?" 
"He got a call eary this morning from Raph...he won't be back untill 
late tonight."  Sabyien blinked sleeply, "Is your friend up yet? You 
might have to show him out....I've got to make trip into town."
Ryo nodded "Yea... I'll go see if he's up." he ran upstairs knocking 
on the room. Alex opened the door in only his boxers. Ryo took a 
step back. "Uh... its time for breakfast..." 

"Thank you." Alex said. "I'll be right down....." 
Ryo nodded and truned away. 

"Goodmorning Alex." Sabyien greeted him with a bright smiled dispite 
the shadows under his eyes. "i'm just finisheing up here, but you 
help yourself to the rest." 

"Hey..." Alex smiled. he looked around. "Where is Seth?" 
"He got called away on a bussiness trip eary this morning." Sabyien 
said, he got up from the table. "i'm heading into town later, if you 
want, I could give you a ride....if you got mind riding behind me on 
the motorcycle." 

"I thought the vehicles were broken?" Alex said raising an eyebrow. 

"The cars are being serviced, my bike is in working condition." 
Sabyien said, taking another cup of coffee.  Ryo had sat down at the 
table. 

"Alright." Alex agreed. he knew it wouldn't seem right if he hadn't 
wanted to leave. 

"By the way, I was wondering if your serious about renting a room 
here." 
"Yes, I think I'd like it away from the city." Alex said. 
Sabyien shrugged. "Let us know when you plan to move in." 

"Is tonight too early?" Alex asked with genuine honesty. 
Sabyien perked an eyebrow. "That would be fine... but don't you 
think that's a little soon?" 

"I'm having problems with my room mates" 
"What kind of problems?" 
"Ah, They are more conserned with parties with..." Alex thought 
quickly. "...questionable substances that I'm not willing to share." 
Sabyien frowned."Drugs...?" 
"Yes." Alex nodded. "I don't want to be any part of that." 
Sabyien thought for a long moment. It was the right thing to do, his 
moral duty to anything to help anyone to asked for his help. This 
young man was asking to get away from lifestyle that was 
destructive. 
"Very well, make your arrangments, I'll be home all afternoon if you 
need any help." 

'Devon's a druggie?' Ryo thought confusedly. 'Sure he's a weirdo 
mega-perv.... but not a druggie.... he always used to get so mad if 
anyone used to suggest that... whats going on?' 
Alex smiled. "Well I'll be ready to go when you are ryo." Theyouth 
snapped out of his perponderant daze and nodded. 
"We have to get to class..." He agreed looking over at sabyien who 
shrugged. "Take my motor cycle then I can take care of the errands 
this afternoon once the cars are back form being serviced." 


"So why am I the only here?" The vampire was leaning aganist the old 
stone table that was as old as he was.  The red haired angel was 
seated, looking a bit weary. "I called you here becuase this 
conserns you." 
"Am I going to get a slap on the wrist again? what have I done wrong 
this time?" 
"It's nothing that you did wrong..." 
"Or are you still pissed off at me for getting married to your 
beloved Guardian and the Saint-child?" 
Rahpeal's hand tightened around the chair's arm. "You know that I 
had agreed to say nothing of the sort!" 
Seth was in a bad mood, being called to Paris early in the morning 
with almost no sleep the night before...granted, it was a gratifying 
night. but... 
"....How's Micheal?" Seth asked, 
Rapheal frowned, he hid his reaction behind a mask of aloof 
indiffrence. The pointed question had cuaght him off gurad, he cursed , he knew that the vampire could smell Micheal on him. To 
Seth, the scent was fresh and rather... 
"He's doing well." Rapheal said evenly, "I called you here becuase 
there is a fraction amoung the knights who are indiscriminatly 
hunting vampires. We haven't been able to contact this fraction, 
they are operating indepently from the rest." 
"So? can't you hunt them down?" 
"All the personel files were wipped out about a month ago, we don't 
know who's who right now." 
Seth sat on the edge of the table. "They are still human, They 
cannot slay all the vampires-" 
"They have cut the numbers of vampires in half during the past 
month." Rapheal interupped, pushing up his glasses, pleased at the 
shock on Seth's face. 
"I-in half?...how could that be?" 
"I would advise you to stay low for teh time being Seth."

The day seemed to crawl by. Having the mid-night dash to sabuyiens 
room didn't help much either.  Ryo yawned almost nodding off as the 
professor droned on about famous playwrites. His eyes slipped shut. 
He soon recived an elbow from alex. "Ryo... class is over." 

Later that morning, after Seth had got back to england, Rapheal had 
gone back to the hotel room where his guest was staying. He lightly 
knocked before going into the bedrooom. "Michael?" Rapheal rushed to 
help him, Micheal was panting, his body covered in sweat. Michael 
looked to Rapheal. "Brother....I'm burning." he said horsely. "Help 
me..." he whimpered. 
Rapeal nodded ,he striped off the night shirt and plucked the light 
form from the bed. 
Micheal groaned when the cooling water hit his skin.  Rapheal leand 
over the tub, holding his head above the water. He worried, 
Micheal's sickness don't usally last for too long but it's been over 
a week now. 
"It's ok, Mike...I'm here, I'm here." he said soothingly, 
"Brother, brother..." Micheal's hand went up to pull Raphael closer 
to him, he sighed, feeling sercure and more coherint. They stayed 
like that until Raph felt his brother's body relax. The angel placed 
kisses on the weaked one's head and face. "You will be fine, I'm 
here." 

Seth yawned, walking into his home he called out to Sabyien. One of 
the house maids told him that he was away for a few hours. "Tell him 
to wake me when he arrives. I have something important to tell him." 
The maid nodded. "Yes, Sir." 
The vampire made his way to his bedroom, he wanted some real sleep 
before he had to tell RYo and Saby the news he got. 

Ryo Pushed open the door with a large box in his arms. "We'll set 
these down in your room and go back for the rest in a bit." 
Alex follwed him. "Thanks Ryo." He was ladened down with three 
buldging duffelbags. they walked up the stairs pasiing seths bedroom 
and the open door. ryo looked in seethiing seth sleeping covered by 
his favorite sheer looking bedsheets. he blushed and closed the 
doors. he shook his head. knowing why seth liked those blankets so 
much. you could see everything through them despite their warmth. 

Sabyien walked with in a paper bag under one arm and a unmarked box 
in the other. It was complicated to send mail among the Tempors, he 
had just come from one of postoffices. 
One of the House maids cames up tom "Sir, Mr. Belmont wanted to talk 
to you, he said it was important." 
"Thank you Cyndy." Sabyien gave the young woman a nodd, she was 
dressed in a filly maids's uniform. Seth had given it to her, she 
looked like a story book charater, but she wore it anyways, to 
please them. 
"Sabyien  Sir, he's sleeping, you may have to wake him." 
"Thank you, Could you put this in the study?" he handed her the 
unmarked box, he took the paper bag with him upstairs. 

Alex stood over the sleeping seth. he reached out and geantly stoked 
the vampires face, his hands ghostly and dry. seth turned towards 
the touch with a sleepy little groan. he yawned. Alex cast his gaze 
along the nude form under the blanket. he licked his lips noting the 
size and swell of the vampires shaft. with a glint of lust in his 
eyes. he pulled the blanket back carefully not to wake the sleeping 
man. He jerked his head up hearing Sabyien out side the door. he 
growled to himself hiding as a shadow. 

Sabyien smiled, it was just like Seth to have  a plesent suprise 
waiting for him. He closed the door slowly, not wanting to wake him 
just yet. Even in the low light the vampire's skin had an 
transluantcsy, and the silver white halo of hair, he was an 
etetheral being. Saby put the bag down and leaned slowly over the 
bed. The folds of the sheer cloth just barly covered his lower half, 
the guardian touched his face. "Seth?" 
The vampire smiled."....Sabyien."  Seth said, waking up and the warm 
touch. He sat up. 
"Is there something you wanted to tell me?" 

"In time." Sabyien climbed onto the bed with seth. straddling the 
man hips. "First." He bent and kissed Seths lips parting them and 
deepening the kis caressing the vampires toungue with his own. 

Alex watched this feeling hate burning within him. 'He does not 
deserve him. he has ryo already...' a myrid of disjointed wicked 
thoughts filtered through Alexs mind of things to do to the 
guardian. first he'd remove the mans long hair. insult before 
injury, then hack off his pretty face, the thoughts continued on. 

There was a feeling of hosility, where? 
Sabyien broke the kiss, he gave Seth a strange look. "What is it?" 
the vampire asked. 
The guardian frowned. "...N-nothing."  Seth tried to capture saby's 
lips again, but for Sabyien the mood was ruined. He got off the bed 
and straightend himself out. "Seth, You've got a package in the 
mail." 
"From who?" 
"Gabe probly, you know how he likes to give us the run-a-around with 
the mail system. I'm curouis what's in it." 
"It can wait Sabyien..." Seth reached out to pull Sabyien closer. 
"...You know you should finish what you start." 
"Heh." Sabyien smiled."Would like to but, I just remebered....Cyndy 
told me that you had something very important to tell Ryo and I?" 
Seth sighed, "Rapheal called me over to warn me, that there is a 
rebel group of Vampire hunters..." 
"So? This happens once a centry." 
"I know. Raph said I should lay low for awhile." Seth said, relaxing 
back on the pillows. 


While Sayien and seth were distracted Alex slunk out the door. he 
returned to his room his body back to normal. he squatted down by 
The sleeping Ryo. he jostled him. "Hey wake up." 
The boy yawned sitting up. "Geez... what happened?" 
"You nodded off. YOu haven't been sleeping well lately have you?" he 
smiled. "Come on we need to go get the rest of my bags." 

It was difficult to say how the rest of the day went, Seth was 
catching up on his sleep but unfortunatly for Sabyien, he had some 
work to finish. 
Ryo poked his head into the study, "Saby, It'll be supper soon." 
Sabyien looked up suprised at the time . "Already?" he logged off 
the computer and followed Ryo to the dinning room. 
"Is your friend Alex gonna be joining us?" 
Ryo shook his head."He said he'll eat later..." 

"Should we wake Seth or send a try up to him?" Ryo asked as he went 
to work peparing the meal. 
"We should Let him rest. I'll take some up to him later on." Sabyien 
advised. "Theres somethings I wish to speak to him about." 
"Alright." Ryo smiled switching the burners on. after a few minutes 
he began spaking to himself. "I think alex is lying... That guy 
isn't a druggie... but why would he want to move so badly?" He 
shrugged. "Never know with some people..." 

Sabyien didn't say anything, his mouth was full of apple. His mind 
was on a more pressing matter, That box that Gabriel sent had a "Do 
not open unitll.." Date on it. Which ment, that they might have 
another assignment. Luckly though, the date was well after the 
planed party. 
" -...right Sabyien?" 
Saby truned, "Yeah." He agreed. 
Ryo sighed, "Didn't you hear what I what I said?" 
"Of course i did." Sabyien smiled. Ryo was about to accuse him of 
lying when the kitchen door to the outside gardens burst open. Hexen 
leaned against it, he was horribly beaten leaving a blood smear on 
the door as he sagged to the floor. 
"He-help me pease..." He begged. "Lucifer..." He lost conciousness. 

Sabyien ran forwards and knelt by the fallen vampire. 
"Hexen....Hexen.  Ryo, go wake Seth, tell him we have an emergency." 
the guardian ripped up his shirt to stop the bleeding, which was 
strange, becuase most vampires usally healed right away. The wounds 
were made by holy weapon, as far as Sabyien knew the only weapon 
that would cuase damage like this was the sacorsanct sword.

Ryo Dashed to seths room. and pushed open the door. Alex was 
standing at the foot of Seths bed. he turned his eyes pained. Ryo 
didn't bother asking him what he was doing there byut dashed to 
seths side. "Seth wake up we need your help... hexen's in trouble." 
The vampire was roused instantly grabbing clothing from the stack he 
had set before going to sleep. they both rushed out leaing alex in 
place. the shadow spirit sunk to the bed. 
"I just want sex...." he whined to himself. 

Seth was hastily dressed as he and Ryo rushed to the kitchen. 
Sabyien had stopped most of the bleeding. Seth frowned, he shook his 
head, "Let's get him into the study." He and Sabyien carried him 
into Seth's study and gently set the wounded vampire on the leather 
couch in the room. 
"My Lord?" Seth stroked the pale face. "Hexen?" 
There was a soft moan from Hexen. "Misha.....they took him...." 

"Who?" Seth asked. He knew it was the rebel faction but he wanted 
names. 
"A...man...facial tat..." He slipped into a coma. he had lost alot 
of blood. 

"He may need a blood tansfer, But I'm not sure if I should do it. 
I'm not sure what my blood would react to his." Seth closed the door 
the small guest room where they put Hexen. Sabyien walked with him 
down the hall. "How about I let him drink from me? would that help?" 
"Yes, it would, but he'll have to drink alot to recove the blood he 
lost." 

Ryo sat with alex talking to him calmly. the scenario of him in 
Seths room a forgotten topic. The men were walking past over heard 
the topic at hand, favorite pets. 

"...I've kept some fish, " 
Sabyien and Seth walked in on them chatting. Sabyien face was a 
mask, he was in deep thought thinking of the trusted people he knew 
that might be able to help. 
Seth smiled at the boys,
 The two finished chatting. Ryo smiled at the two men, a careful 
nervous one that wanted to comfort but didn't know how. Alex looked 
at seth then away his eyes said it all. 'I want you!' 

A corner of Seth's mouth quirked in amusement at the intencenity 
Alex's eyes, but he was aware of Sabyien's pressence righ beside 
him. The Guardian was worried, this was no time to suduce the boy. 
"How is he?" Ryo asked. 
"Not well afraid, He's not responding." Seth said. 
Alex fingered the matrial in the chair. "Couldn't you take him to 
the hospital?" he asked again, Alex had seen them moved the ingured 
stranger into the windowless guestroom. As they couldn't tell him 
the truth about Hexen, Seth had asked him not tell anyone. 
"We Can't he has requested us not to." seth explained. this wan't 
entirely a lie. just a fudging of the truth. 
Ryo loked up at sabyien, his eyes wordlessly asked. 'should i let 
him feed on me?' 
Sabyien shook his head. "The only thing we can do right now is let 
him rest." 

They ate wordlessy, the housemaids having made then a quick supper, 
they too senced something amiss. But like good servents they said 
nothing. 
Seth had closed all of Hexen's wounds with his healing kiss, it was 
up to the inner strenght of the vampire to awaken and take in 
substance.  Sabyien thought that he should be the one to give him 
his life's blood, since Ryo's would only weaken him more and asking 
Alex was out of the question. 
Seth was sitting in the guest room waiting for Hexen to recover 
enough to awaken. 

Alex pushed open the door to the bedroom. he made his way to seth 
staning behind him. He put his arms around seths neck. "How are you 
holding up?" 
"I'll be alright." Seth looked up at the boy. "Go rest." Alex shook 
his nead. 
"No. I'll be fine." He lowered himself towards seth. inviting him 
into a kiss. 

Seth truned his face away, "This is very inaporpeate." He said, then 
gently pulled the boy's arms from around him. "...in the pressence 
of a sick guest." 

"Forgive me." alex sighed. "I lost mysef for a moment." 
"It's alright." Seth patted his hand. "Another time perhaps."
After dinner, Sabyien went intot he music room, he wasn;t at his 
best when waiting for answers. Namely; how did Hexen get so... 
His fingers ghosted over the keys of the piano, they began to pick 
out an old familier melody, one that his father Darren would often 
sing to himself. A Sonata writen for him. 

"Thats 'the angel with blue eyes.' isn't it?" Ryo asked form the 
door to the music room. "It sounds like the song mum used to sing 
to me..." 
"How would you know, your parents died when you were little." 
"Family films." Ryo smiled. "I heard it on the christmas movie." 

Sabyien shook his head, "No, this is one I heard as a lulaby when I 
was a child."  he stopped playing. "Im afraid that we might have to 
post-pone the party this weekend Ryo. Untill Hexen recovers this 
house willl have to stay quiet." 

"Of course...." Ryo nodded. "I'll make the calls to postpone
 things." he sat and leaned against the man. 
"It'll be a while before he wakes up." Sabyen sighed quietly. 
"Maybe we should keep seth company." 
"No its alright." 

Sabyien put an arm around Ryo. "He'll tell us when he wakes." he 
kissed the side of Ryo's face. 

He brushed a hand lightly over Hexen's face, "My Lord, if only you 
could me who did this to you, I'd do anything to avenge you and 
Luciver." Seth leands forwards and lightly kissed Hexen's forehead. 
Alex had gone to do who knew what, leaving Seth alone with Hexen. 

Seth curled up next to him. "Please open your eyes my lord..." 

No responce from the vampire, Seth sighed and put an arm around him. 

Later that night, Sabyien couldn't sleep, he slowly climbed out of 
the bed. trying not to disturbe Ryo. The guardian opened the doors 
to the patio and looked out. Maybe a brief flight will settle him 
down. 
Opening his wings he tested the wind before summiting himself to the 
free dom of the sky. 

Alex was wondering the halls, looking for Seth, he wasn't in the 
room with Hexen anymore. 

Seth sat with a cup of hot cofffee pouring over ancient books to see 
if there was anything further he could do to aid his masters 
recovery. he frowned. threre was nothing. 

He closed the book and rubbed his eyes. he'd been looking for hours. 
Seth heard a noise and looked up to see Alex standing in the door 
way. 
"Mr Belmont? " 
"What is it Alex?" 

Alex frowned. "I just wanted to thank you for bringing me into the 
home..." 

"It's no problem Alex, this house has too many empty rooms anyways." 
Seth put the book away and stood up. "How about something to warm to 
drink? Hot-chocolate?" 

"We'll sir..." Alex walked over and sat in his lap. "I'd rather have 
a tall cool glass of you..." He Kissed seths lips. "It'll give you 
something else to focus on other then you're ill adult friend." 

'What the hell' Seth thought, he swept the boy closer in deep 
passionate kisses. 

Alex kissed him hungerly. going to undo the man's shirt. "Do you remember?" 
"Remember what?" Seth let Alex pull the shirt off, kissing along his 
shoulder. "About us." Alex said. 
The vampire closed his eyes as the boy trailed kisses across his 
chest. "I'm sorry....have we met before?" 

"In a way." Alex answered catching seths eyes temporarilly. "A long 
time ago." 
The cryptic answer bothered seth but he pushed it away passively. 
watching as Alex removed his own shirt. "Could you be a little 
clearer?" 
"Well..." Alex started. then with a smile replied. "I Would but its 
more fun when you try to guess..." 

Seth dug throught his memories, it couldn't have been very long ago. 
He would have remembered  speaking to a boy like this.".......no, I 
don't remember ever meeting you."  not during the past couple of 
years anways, Seth thought to himslef. 
"Maybe this will help you remember." Alex undid his school tie, 
there was a long gash on his throat. "Do you remember yet?" He asked 
guiding one of seths fingers along it. He leaned in. "You wouldn't 
make love to me then. So I followed you. its been so long..." the 
boy purred. 

Seth froze. "...you." he breathed. "but...but how? you died...I 
saw.." He drew his hand back, aprencive. 
"Shhh...." alex put a finger to the vampires lips to silence him. 
"Never mind it..." 
Seth pushed the boy off of him and stood. "I want you out of this 
house. Now." 

"Seth?" 
The vampire turned at the voice and heard a loud gasp from Alex. 
Sabyien had landed through the open window. he froze in shock at the 
sight of the boy in room...with good reason, No one outside thire 
small circle of close friends and allies had ever seen Saby's wings. 
Alex and Sabyien stared at eachother with wide eyes.
alex stared in shock for a few minutes before regaining his 
composure. he looked as though seeing sabyiens wings were nothing 
new to him. "Seth. I will continue to follow you. Nothing you say 
will stop me until i get what i want." He turned and started to walk 
out of the room shutting the door behind him. he made it to the 
bottom of the stairs before sitting down and sobbing deeply. ryo 
came from the kitchen. looking down at the crying boy. 
"What's wrong?" 
"Seth told me to leave..." 
"Why?" 
Alex thought up a quick lie. "Because he came on to me and i refused 
him." Ryo bought it. 

Sabyien blinked at Alex's words. "What did he mean by that Seth?" he 
recovered and folded his wings back into non-exsitance. The vampire 
frowned. "It it was a long time ago, when Ams..." Seth rembered the 
pet name that he had for the boy."...used to live with me." 
It was saby's truned to frown. "Live with you? when was this?" 
"During the years in 1700." 
Saby stepped back "But that's 200 years ago! Is that boy a..." 
"No he's not...I don't how this happended-" 
Seth's wrods where cut off by Ryo's sudden entrance. the young man 
slamed the door to the stduy open cracking the thin delicte wood. 
"Seth!!" 

The vampire froze. He felt his stomach leap into his throat. Ryo 
walked over and slapped the man in the face. "How could you?!" he 
slapped him again. "What the hell were you thinking?!" 

Sabyien rush forwards to stop Ryo from hitting Seth again, "Now Ryo, 
What happened now?" 
He was trying to fuck Alex!!!" Ryo screamed. "And when he didn't 
gve in....." Ryo glared at the Vampire. "...Your throwing him out 
ofthe house?!!" 
Stil holding Ryo, Saby truned to Seth. "It that why he was in here? 
bu I thougth I heard him say..." 
"Dmn it Seth!! I HAVE ENOUGH OF YOU!!" Ryo tore himself from Saby's 
grip and stomped out. 
Seth looked shacken. "...no, that wasn't it at all...Ryo. Ryo!" 
The boy stormed down to the main entrance taking a set of keys he 
wanted to go for a drive Alex asked if he could join the boy ryo 
nodded. he needed to talk. 

Sabyien stopped Seth from going after Ryo. "Wait, Seth, let him calm 
down. You can explain it after....but first Tell me how you know 
about Alex. What is he if he's not a vampire." 
Seth sat down in the leather couch. "I don't know what he is..." He 
covered his face. "....yes, you have a right to know." 
Sabyien sat down beside as Seth began his story. 
Seth folded his hands together. "It alstarted in the 1700's I was a 
headmaster of a finishing school for young men." 
"Suprise suprise." 
"... Anyway. In my final year as head aster Alex came to me as a 
student. he was a sickened young man always ill. everyone knew he 
wouldn't last the year. but he struggled on. I became like a father 
to him. but i soon learned his love for me was something more." 
"What did you do?" Sabyien asked. 
"I turned him down. I cared to much for him." He looked down. "He 
took his life in my office." 

"It must have been devestating." Saby said. 
"I was devestated....He could have been me son- " Seth's voice 
broke.  Sabyien wait while his friend regained his composure. the 
vampire continued. "If only I'd known...If only I have had another 
chance." 

"Well... Sabyien put a hand on seths knee. "Maybe now you do." 
Ryo continued to drive angerly. "I can't believe him! He seiously 
tried to attack you? He's my fucking husband and he attacked you?! 
What the hell? Tell me alex, have i been a bad eson? Was it some 
thing i di- YEAH FUCK YOU BUDDY!" ryo shouted swirving through 
traffic avoiding someone who was trying to cut them off. 

Alex was sitting in the car unmoved by Ryo's wreckless driving. 
"Maybe you should slow down?" he offered. 
But Ryo was barly listensing to him, trying to navigate a trun. and 
cursing at the same time. 

Seyth sighed. "Well I don't know what i should do... what do you 
think sabyien...?" he turned to the man. "I need your advie." 

Sabyien throught, "What I would do is have a serious talk with Alex, 
explane about how you feel for him....and try to explane that love 
is still love, between lovers or partens and children....it's still 
the same feeling." 

((1 handed typing? Raunchy.)) 

"And that will work?" Seth asked, doubt blatant in his mind.

"I trusted him! I gave him my virginity! And for what so he can go 
behind my back and try to sleep with you?" Ryo continued to fume 
wiping his eyes with a tissue. the driving getting worse as he went. 

The sound of the tires squeals shook Ryo from his rage too late, the 
oncoming traffic at the lights hit the car jolting Alex and Ryo. 

the car is jack knifed and rolls from the force of the collision. 
ryo hung from his seat bleding. Alex stood on the sidewalk calm and 
casual as if waiting for the light to change making it safe for him 
to cross. 

Seth sat down again. then clutched his stomach and bent double 
vomiting blood. 

Sabyien jumped. he knew what this ment. A haze of panic clouded his 
mind for a secound. 'Ryo, what happened to Ryo?'  the words ran 
tehmselves in circles in his thoughts, then slowly like warm 
calmness. '....a vampire who drinks from a vampire-hunter will 
become bounded to that immortal, they will share the same mortal 
life, the same pain...' 
Sabyien shook his head, of the memoriy, it wasn't going to help him 
now. "Something has happened to Ryo! Seth are you alright?" 

Seth nodded quickly before another purgance rocked his body. "Ugk... 
go to him sabyien..." He commanded before heading to the bathroom. 

Sabyien ran out into the hallway. "Ryo! "  He starlted Cyndy who was 
just coming down to see what was the all the noise was about. 
"Master Sabyien?" 
"Where's Ryo?" he asked her. the young maid looked frightened. "I-I 
don't know...I think I heard him heading to the garage." 
Sabyien was already runing down the stairs. 
He Cursed in Ashalanian. one of the cars was gone. Sabyien hopped in 
another one, one that had an onbord computer that tracked the 
others. Seth had taken the precaution of installing a tracking chip 
on every one of his cars. 

Alex smiled the night giving his dark powers extra strength. he made 
his way to the home. "One down.... One to go." He laughed evilly. he 
slipped into the home from the side opposite sabyien's departure. 
"Oh Mr. Belmont.... can You come out to play?" 

While Sabyien had gone to check on Ryo, Seth was stuck in the 
bathroom, it hurt to move very much, it hurt allover. He was seated 
on the floor leaning agenst the bath tub for support. 
"Sabyien....Please get to him quickly..." he pleaded, sending out 
his thoughts for them both. 

Sabyien came upon the secen of the accidents already the police and 
ambluance was there, their flashing lights drew spectators. Sabyien 
gained  a closer look after showing the police his badge. 
"I know him, he's.....he's..." Sabyien couldn't say anymore, 
witnessing the paramedics load Ryo onto a strecher. 

Alex sauntered through the house calling out. "Mr. Belmont?" He 
called out in a sing song voice. "Come out come out wherever you 
are." 

Helpless, it was to hard to move, Seth made his way out of the 
bathroom to meet Ams In the main hall.  Every once in awhile, he'd 
stop and cluch his chest as the heart-beat stuttered irregualrly. 

"Do it Again!" the paramedic was monitering the boy's heart rate, 
another  stuck two paddles on Ryo's chest to give his heart a jolt 
to keep it beating.  "Come on kid, hold on we're almost there." 
Following behind the ambluance, Sabyien pulled in to the hospital. 
he followed along side the strecher as the medics pushed him into 
the emergency ward. 

Seth Weakly forced himself into the small sideroom off of the living 
room. the walls were covered in ornimental weapons. he got to the 
cabinet at the end and opened it. he pulled out a stun gun and 
collapsed against the door. he'd wait here. he could hear the youth 
calling for him. he would kill him. if he had too. 

Alex phased throught some of the walls looking for Seth. He grined 
he was enjoying this game. 

Seth panted it was getting harder to breathe 

Ryo felt light. he floated above himself in the emergency room. he 
could hear the voices of the doctors. "Sir We're loosing him." 
"Keep trying dammit." 

Ryo left the room feeling something pulling him away. he drifted 
through walls past sabyien. he tried calling out to him. but nothing 
came from his mouth. He felt himself being whisked away. he shut his 
eyes. upon opening them again he was standing in the main hall of 
the home. he could hear Alex calling out for seth. what was going 
on? 

It was a struggle to stay consious, Seth heard Alex's voice coming 
closer. Then silence. 
Alex drifted ghost-like throught the closed door, he smiled at the 
Vampire. "I've found you." 
Seth blinked the bright spots from his eyes. "Ams...What have you 
done to Ryo?" 

"Nothing. he did it all himself." Alex purred moving towards seth. 
he reached out and stroked the vampires face. the vampire fired the 
shock gun. alex jolted back. "Tease." 

"Stupid...Did you want to see me suffer like this?" Seth dropped the 
gun it was clear that whatever Alex was, nothing could harm him. 
"What do you mean Seth?" Alex asked. 
" Ryo is special, When I drank from him, I became bounded to 
him...If he dies, I die!" 

"Then we'll Have to make this quick." Alex purred. Walking over to seth. 
Ryo stood at the door to the room. watching fuming. 
"GET AWAY FROM HIM!" He shouted. alex turned. 
"You! What are you doing here?" 

Seth's vision was diming, he wondered who'd Alex was talking too. 
"Sabyien? is that you?" 

Ryo Stormed over to Alex hauled back and punched at him. Alex causght 
his fist as if it were nothing. 

"Doctor! Doctor....We've lost him." One of the nurses put her hand 
on the ER doctor who was despertly trying to revive the boy. He was 
young, so far he'd never lost a patient. 
Sabyien stood up when the ER nurses and the doctor filed out of the 
room, th ER doctor looked at him sadly. Saby's breath cuaght in his 
throat. "Ryo....?" 
"I-I'm sorry..." 
Sabyien shoved him aside, he threw himself on Ryo. "Ryo....please 
don't go....come back to me please, I don't want to lose you 
again..." he wept. 

Alex squezed ryo's fist "Well. I guess its safe to say we aren't 
going to be friends anymore." He forced the boy to his knees. "So 
now i'll say goodbye then." 
"No..." Ryo grunted. "I won't die like this. I won't Die!" He 
Shouted. wings similar to Sabyiens ripped from his back he stood. 
Sabyien pulled the boy closer to him, as if to take him within 
himself, he didn't want to let go. inadvertently, his wings opened, 
much to the suprise of the ER doctor. 
"Ryo, come back." 

Alex blocked another punch, he steped over Seth's uncouious body and 
he was driven back. Ryo then grabbed him tightly, they grappeled, 
vieing for control. Suddenly Ryo felt himself being pulled back. a 
shap wind was pulling him.... "Let me go!" Alex screamed, 
"I-I can't!" Ryo's hands seemed to be locked on Alex's arms. Alex 
screamed again "LET ME GO!" 
He and Ryo screamed in unision as a stong force was driving them 
both throught a dark tunnel of light and shadows. 

Sabyien felt Ryo's body twich, and loud gasp of breath. "Ryo?" he 
blinked away the tears. "Ryo?" 

Ryo opened his eyes. "Sabyien?" He whispered. 
"Shhh... its alright.." 
"Tell seth... I sent him... he's gone to the afterlife..." 
"Who?" 
"Alex..." 

Sabyien perked an eyebrow. "What do you mean?" 
"He was dead... he was trying to kill seth..." 

"Are you alright?" Saby asked. Ryo still looked... 
Ryo groaned."For getting into a car accedent..." 
"...Of corse yu wouldn't feel well." Said a voice behind them, Saby 
truned his head to see the ER doctor walking up to Ryo. "I won't 
question you two...but your condition is a mess right now." he 
checked the boy's vitals and went to call the the other doctors 
andnurses to come back. 
Sabyien folded his wings away, he gave a sigh. "Ryo..." he kissed 
him. 

Ryo Smiled up at him. "Don't worry. We'll be fine." 

Seth opened his eyes looking up at the ceiling. he felt weak as a 
kitten but glad to still be alive.
