He titled his had back enjoying the sun, nearby Ryo was seated
watching the other bathers.
Sabyien pulled off his glasses and scanned the beach for Seth, the
ascended vampire had gone for some drinks and snacks but this was
more than an half an hour ago.
He got from the sand and sat beside Ryo.  Ryo was also looking
around. "Where is he?"
Saby grinned. "He probly got distracted....do you want me to put
something on your back? You should have told me that you sunburn
easily."  Sabyien dug into the backpack they had.
They had been assigned to the North American sector, right now they
just had to wait in L.A. for their orders to come in....while they waited,
Seth thought that it might be nice to visit the beach for
the day.
"Maybe his freaking man-thong broke and he's hiding." was Ryo's
suggestion, he then squeaked as Sabyien applied the aloe vera to his
back. "Ouch..."
The guardian sighed "That's likely too... I told him not to wear
that."

Seth was making his way towards the others, he had stopped a few time
to watch a volleyball game to to chat with several of the girls. But
the drinks.....He was smiling in apology at the pair when he got to
them "Sorry, there was a pretty long line-up."  he handed the drinks
to Ryo and Sabyien before sitting back on the beach-chair, he looked
at Ryo through his glasses. "Boy, you look like a lobster." He
smirked, he himself was nicely tanned for a vampire.
"Curse you seth." Ryo muttered. turning. "Ummm... is this supposed
to be a nude beach?" He pointed past the legions of bathing suit
clad sun-worshipers to the body walking from the ocean. they looked
human except their skin shimmered. covered by scales.

"Uhm?" Seth looked,  he saw nothing but normal humans, Sabyien
finished putting the lotion on and sat back. "A nude beach?"
Ryo frowned...." That was strange. I thought I saw..."
The cell phone in Sabyien's  pocket rang. "Hello?.......yes,....ok."
he hung up. "WE are to go back to the hotel, we'll be receiving more
information there."
Seth sighed."Back to work already?"  but he helped Saby and RYo get
the stuff packed into the car
They loaded up and began to drive. Sabyien looked over at Seth and
back at Ryo taking his eyes off the road for a second. Seth spoke.
"So what did they want?"
Sabyien shrugged, "Just to get back to the hotel...."   Seth
snorted. "The usual way they operate, get into a place where they can
watch you...keep an eye on you and wait for you to make a mistake."
"Seth, they have a good reason to be watching us." Sabyien smiled at
Ryo."this is not the usual path for a new trainee."
"Usual path my ass... I bet I can count how many trainee's get it
from both ends from his instructors who he's married too." He held up
his middle finger. "One, that's me."
"Yea. And you'd better be damn happy for it." Seth said The other man laughed.


The Lanzender Hotel in Hollywood, right in the middle of everything.
Ryo was still gawking at the occational star that walked by.  Sabyien
pulled on Ryo shoulder, Ryo protested. "Isn't that...."
"Yes, but we have more important things to do." Seth said, he had
noticed too the young pop singer that just walked by them.
They got into the elevator.  Sabyien clicked for the top floor
penthouse where they would be staying.
Ryo walked into the room. Looking down. "We didn't change form the beach,
no wonder people were looking at us strange."
"Well let me fix that for you." Seth chuckled grabbing Ryo's swimsuit and
pulling it off.
His own was soon to follow. Ryo though used to treatment still blushed as seth
did it. he quickly went to his room to change. The same one he shared with the 
other two, so it didn't matter.

Saby shifted through the suitcase he had on top of the drawer, he
looked up to see that Seth was shaking his head at Ryo's sunburn.
Ryo took out some clothes and then winced as a hand brushed over his
brunt shoulders. "Ryo....allow me to help you." Seth kissed the bare
shoulder. Ryo froze, it hurt just a bit....
The vampire bit his lip, drawing his own blood. Seth licked at the
damaged skin, spreading his own blood over it to heal the burn.
Ryo closed his eyes and took a slow breath as the tingling warmth
spread from Seth's tongue over the ache of the burns.  Seth's hands
when around to caress up and down his front, fingers brushing down
to his bare thighs. Seth playfully squeezed one the saint's nipples,
Ryo moaned.
Sabyien watched, he  had seen Seth use his blood to "kiss" away
wounds before. He resumed pulling on his clothes when Seth took a
step back to view his handy work.
The vampire turned Ryo around to pull him into a kiss. "Done....Ryo,
please do be careful next time you want to stay out in the sun." 
Ryo was still blushing he collapsed against Seth. "Ahhhh.... Don't
do that again... I don't think I can handle it..."
"What?" this? " Seth reached down, his fingers curing around Ryo's
hardening member. Just as Seth was going to kiss him again the phone
rang.
Sabyien jumped to pressed the button to the speaker, so they could
all hear it. "Yes?"
"Guardian, this line is secure."  Raphael's voice came over the
line. " Is Seth  and Ryo with you?"
"Yes, there here."
"Good, I have the details of your next mission."
Seth groaned, and sat on the edge of the bed, "Damn it."  he cursed
in a low voice.
"I....'m gonna go take a cold shower..." Ryo said his body
trembling.
"Did I call at a bad time?" Asked the angel with a smug laugh in his
voice.

Ryo Walked into the bathroom and got into the cold running water to
quiet his body. He was humming quietly. The water began to pool on the floor.
It slowly began to form into the shape of a human. 


"....you mean like a mermaid?" Sabyien asked surprised.
"Not exactly, It's a water spirit.  It's been abducting young men in
the area, from what little information that I have, it seems to take
a victim during the full moon...."
Seth was getting dressed, he pulled on a shirt. "Full moon?"
Sabyien frowned "There's another in two nights...so you want us to
exosies this water-spirit before is take another?"
"Yes," Raphael sounded tired, "We have failed several time in
trying..."
"I understand." sabyien nodded, forgetting that Raph couldn't see
him.
Seth spoke to the phone. "Just leave it to us."


The water being solidified, she was looking a the back of the young
man,  how pretty he was! he was humming under his breath some song.
She reached to touch him....
"Ryo? I'm ordering out  What do want for supper? "  Sabyien pokes
his head inside the door.  he heard a splash of water. 'I thought
that he was taking a shower...'
Ryo turned and opened the shower-door. " Chinese food!"

Drat! she thought,  as she flowed down the drain. Maybe next
time....

Ryo soon turned off the water and began to dry himself off, he
stepped out of the shower and felt something under his foot. He
looked down, a small pendant lay on the bathroom floor, he raised an
eyebrow. "If Saby wanted to give me that he could have just come
in..." He picks it up examining it, the pendant pulses in his hand 
though he doesn't notice, he shrugs putting it on and gets dressed. 

Seth was reading through some books while Sabyien and Ryo where on
the computer.
"well....I can't find anything in this book that describes such a
creature." Seth put the book down and picked up another.
"Wait! It says here here that the missing boys all disappeared at a
certin area."  Sabyien clicked through the file of missing boys. They

all had dark hair and deep brown eyes.
Ryo paled, "Are you sure? We just came from that beach today."
Seth shook his head. "Apparently they were being taken while in the
water." He shook his head. Something glinting around Ryo's neck
"Where did you get that?"
Ryo shrugged, "I just picked it up.....it's a nice gift."
Sabyien was too absorbed in the computer to notice Ryo smiling at
him.
Ryo sat down picking up his laptop and begins to search. there was a
website that came up. a list of magical creatures and cursed items.
one of the first items on the list was what looked like his pendant
but far older and it looked as though a second part of it was
missing.
He raise an eyebrow as he read.  "A pendant belonging to a chinese
princess, legends say that the son of poor fisherman gave it to
her.....the day before he lost his life in a storm. "  Ryo read on.
" The princess was to have said to have thrown herself into the sea
to join her beloved." 
"Sounds interesting." Sabyien didn't look up. "But that's a bereaved
spirit. We're looking at a vengeful sea faring succubus." He sighs.
"And by the description she'd go after asian boys. not Americans."
"Well Its a solid lead." Seth said taking down notes on what was
found.
"Most of the boys that are missing do match the asian coloring."
Ryo said. Sabyien turned away from the computer, "If the information
is right, the creature, whatever it is,  will be taking another
victim   in two more nights. "
Seth looked out the window. "Shouldn't we go and investigate that
beach? There might be some clue that the knights might have missed." 
"I'll Get my coat." Ryo said sabyien put a hand on his jacket. "no.
you stay here. You'd be a pretty hot commodity to whomever is doing
this. let Seth And I take care of this. and besides." He punched ryo
in the stomach knocking the wind out of him. "You need rest."

Leaving Ryo behind, Seth and Saby headed down to the beach.  The
beach was now empty, the sun was just disappearing into the sea. The
vampire was kneeling down in the sand sniffing. "No....nothing
here....so many humans, I can't tell which trail is which."
"We should keep looking." Sabyien shook his head.
"By the way. what was the hit on Ryo for?"
"They're looking for asian boys. It would be safer for him to stay
at the hotel. he would have followed us no matter what if I hadn't.
I did it for his safety." 
It was getting dark, Seth  and Saby looked around the rocks at the
north end of the beach.  "Well Saby, I don't think there's anything
here....." he was cut off by a soft sound, a lovely song. sabyien
frowned and blinked. It was gone. "Was a girl?"
Seth shrugged, "This is a pretty tough place at night,  A girl
hanging out alone would be easy game to the gangs."
Sabyien brushed his hair back. "Your right, if it is a
girl.....shouldn't we go and see if we can help her?"


Ryo Lay asleep on the bed. the sink in the bathroom was dripping
soon the sink was full and leaking onto the floor. It formed into a
human body and began to approach him. "My love." She reached out to
touch him water dripped onto the boys face he groaned opening an eye.
"Saby?" He looks up there's nothing there in the darkness he sits up
swinging his legs over the edge of the bed. the carpet was wet. he
looked around seeing the tap was running he walked over and shut it
off. muttering about the flooded room.


"I'm sure that is was here."  Saby panted as he pushed himself up
over the edge of the tall ridge. The vampire was already there
sniffing the ground. "There's nothing here, no scent, no nothing."
"Nothing?" Sabyien huffed. all this work to get up here!
Seth looked around...."Nice place though." it was true, at this high
place they could see the city-lights and the sea.
"Let's get back to the beach. There' s nothing here." Sabyien said,
Seth nodded.
As they headed back down, the wind blew some leaves that covered a
shining pendant....
Seth bent something catching his eye. he picked it up. "Hmm... odd."
He holds it up to the light. "It looks like the one Ryo found."

Sabyien looked over. "Looks like it has some writing on it. " he
squinted, and took it in his hand. "I can't read it. it has writing
on it that I haven't seen before."
"If it is like the one Ryo found.....there's two of them?" Seth
asked.
"I need to take a closer look at the one Ryo found maybe there's a
connection." Sabyien out it in his pocket and started to hade back
down to where they left the car.

Ryo was waiting at the door with crossed arms and an angry
expression, Sabyien wondered how long he'd been standing there
waiting for them like this.   "er....Ryo?"

"You left me here alone and With the tap running. Ha ha very funny.
 Because of that I had to pay for the damages to the room below us. 
Their roof collapsed. It wasn't a fun night in the honeymoon suite." 
He sighed walking across the room to where the puddle was. "Luckily 
I had Seth's credit card and was able to bounce the price back to 
the hotel but even so that wasn't funny."
"But we didn't leave the tap on." Sabyien raised an eye brow to the 
youth.
seth wrinkled his nose. "If anyone did It was you Ryo. you were the 
only one to go near the bathroom since we left."
"Bastrds." Was his reply as he continued to dry the floor. his new 
found pendant swinging between his arms. Sabyien walked over. "Ryo... 
may I see that pendant of yours?"
"Yeah fine." He tried to take it of it wouldn't undo. sabyien and 
seth both tried the clasp but to no avail. and every time they 
tried to pull it over his head it wouldn't budge.
"Cursed artifact?" Seth inquired.
"Bingo." Was Sabyien's reply.

"Cursed?" Ryo looked down at the pendant that wouldn't come off.
Sabyien took out the other pendent that they found and held it out
near Ryo's "With this one, they make a larger one...and I think that
I can translate......"  he touched the his piece with Ryo's   There
was scalding burning sensation in fingers Sabyien dropped it holding
on to his hand which was begining to brake out into angry red burns.
"Ugh!" Sabyien cradled the hand.
Ryo looked confused, "What happened? "

"I burned my fucking hand." He cursed. Ryo picked up the pendant as
Seth took him to the bathroom to run some cold water over his hand.

The charaters on the each of the pendants looked a little familiar.
Ryo made sure that they didn't touch.
Seth came back to snatch it up again, "We found this down near the
beach.....I think I know why the missing boys disappear there."
Ryo blinked,
"L.A's China town is in that area."
"The we should check there too. " Sabyien came out of the bathroom
wrapping his hand up. 


Ryo stood up. "I'm coming with you this time." He walked into the
hall before the others could stop him. "China town's still open."

In the car, Seth  stopped at the lights, he was thinking...." I
wonder if he's still alive."  He pulled over and pulled out his
cell phone. Sabyien and Ryo looked at him. "Who's still alive?"
"Oh this little chinese boy that I smuggled into the US years ago."
The vampire dialed a number. "Hello?  Is Chun here?......yes your
grandfather, Tell him that Misha wants to talk to him." SEth smiled.

"I still can't believe your name is Misha..." Ryo whispered from the
back seat. He looked up as they passed the gates to china town. they
were soon at an antiquities dealer. 'How Clich�...' Ryo thought to
himself.


A young woman let them in, she told them to wait in the store while
she went to go get her grandfather.  Ryo was inspecting a nicely
painted vase, when he looked at the bottom it read: Made in China
1994.
Seth was  leaning over the glass case full of jade pendant when
an small old man walked  from the back door.  "Misha! " He said in
perfect english.  "Nice to see you again."  Chun and Seth embraced
warmly.  "The years have been good to you, my dearest thief." The
vampire said.
The old man flushed. "Your the same angel that I remember."
Angel? Saby and Ryo glanced at each other
"Misha, What can I help you with?" Chun asked,
Seth took the pendant from his pocket. "I need you to identify
this." 

"AYA!" He cried and began chanting indistinctly in Chinese. After a
few minutes he stopped. "That's a very evil artifact! There's so much
bad Energy to it!"
Ryo bit his lip. "I... Put one on."
The elderly man's eyes went wide. "Oh god...."

Sabyien frowned, trying to keep his emotions in check. "What does
that mean?"
"He will become a fishman's bride." Chun said.  "A demon from the
sea that steals the souls of young people."

"A fisherman's bride? But I'm already married to them!" Ryo blurted
out.

Saby and Seth both shot him dark looks.

Luckily Chun was absorbed in inspecting the pendant. he missed Ryo's
comment.  He put up hand to  gather their attention. "A fishman, a
half half fish person.....usually very ugly and very evil."  He put
the pendant down on the counter. "You have to get that pendant off."
"How? Saby asked "How do we? It's stuck onto him like glue."

"Simple." He smiled. "cut off the boys head." The other three stared
at the man as if he had lost his mind. "Or simply unhook the locket
from the chain. it should come off easily." 

Ryo grabbed for the pendant under his shirt. Then winced in pain, he
tugged opened his shirt looked down and screamed.  The pendant was
imbedded into his chest.
There was a crash at the back door, the granddaughter stood there, a
broken tea set at her feet.   "Lin....."
Chun turned to the young woman. "Mei?  What about Lin?" The old man
frowned. he could barley hear her voice  over Ryo's shouting.
"Lin..." She said." Then this means Lin has failed."

"Who's Lin?" Seth demanded but Mei was to busy crying and Chun
consolling her for the vampires question to be heeded. Sabyien was
busy trying to pull the pandant from ryo's chest making the boy
scream in tormented agony. Outside A crack of lightning split the sky
as water began to fall from the sky. 


"It won't come free." Sabyien had stopped trying to pull it out, it
was clear that it wasn't going to come free very easily.
"Lin." Mei sobbed.  Her grandfather patted her head. "Mei-child, I
know you miss him, but he's not coming back."
Seth heard, and gently pulled Mei and Chun apart, he sensed
something here. "Lin? Is he someone special to you?"
"Lin Chun is my twin brother!"  Mei sniffed.
"Lin ran away from home some time ago." Chun said.
Mei pulled away, "No he didn't grandfather....He told me not to tell
the family, but he .....he went to go slay the water demon....and
he's dead. That cursed thing is back, with out Lin." She chocked
down a sob.

Seth put his arms around the girl in a comforting way. his hands
disappear for a second. Mei's eyes open wide. she pushes him back
and slaps him. "DON'T UNHOOK MY BRA STRAPS PERVERT!"
Ryo turns to seth. would it have been possible at the moment death
lazers would have shot from his eyes. "Seth!"
Sabyien sighed holding ryo back. "That was really inappropriate
seth. You're married and We have serious business to attend to."
Sabyien gave Mei an apologetic look as she stormed off into the
back room to fix herself.
Seth chuckled. "Sorry I couldn't resist." There was a knock at the
door. someone was seeking shelter from the rain. 

Seth when to go answer it, he saw a pretty Asian girl standing in
the rain. "My name is Yin-yu, can I please come in?"
The vampire let her in.
Saby closed Ryo's shirt as the stranger walked in her clothing
soaked right through.  Chun frowned, "You are welcome in my store
young maiden, How may I help you?"
She seemed shy , "If you would just let me wait out the rain,
honored elder...."
"Yes, you may."
"I thank you." She stood by the door, squeezing water from her hair
and clothing,  Chun touched Saby's shoulder, "Come into the back, my
home adjoins the store. come both of you." Sabyien nodded his thanks.
"Chun, you go on with them, I'll watch the store for you." Seth
said, smiling at Yin-yu.
Ryo gave the vampire a sour look knowing that he wouldn't have
volunteered if the girl wasn't there.  Sabyien knew this too, he
gave Seth a look of warning before herding Ryo into the back with
Chun.
Seth turned to the young woman,  "Did you get caught in the
rain?....."
She was watching the trio leave with a look of longing,
Seth blinked, "Uhm.....excuse me? "
"Ah? "  She blinked in surprise ." Oh....yes....I did, Uhm....sir?
Who where they?" She asked, she was blushing slightly.
The vampire raised an eyebrow in annoyance. "The old man's name is
Chun, the other two are Sabyien and Ryo... and I'm Misha Belmont." 

The girl smiled and sneezed a bit Mei looked at her concerned. "Are
you alright Yin-yu?" She began to pour out some tea into cups from
the second tray that was stationed on the counter. it had been there
all day and needed to be refreshed but it would work for the moments
purpose until fresh could be brought. she handed some to the girl
and the vampire. "Misha.... yin-yu. Why not sit here. rest your
bodies you both look tired." She smiles politely.

"No, thank you, I don't want to drip on the carpets." Yin-yu
accepted the cup and took a small sip.
Seth took a seat on one of the satin covered chairs, 

Ryo Sat on the counter in the kitchen his shirt was off. he blushed
at sabyien as Chun studied the pendant lodged in his chest. he gave
it a small poke. electric like sparks gave off a warning not to do
that again. "Ouch." Ryo bit his lip. Chun went back to his books
reading the ancient words. concern writ on his face.
"Interesting... worrying.... Oh crap..." He furrowed his brows.
"Half this book is missing."

"Crap," Sabyien frowned, "Is there anything you can do?"
"Nothing that will help" Chun said. "Maybe go to the hospital?"
Sabyien leaned on his hand thinking, "I'm going to ask Mei more about
this pendant, she said before that her brother Lin had it before."
He went out to the store and called Mei over to the back room. 
Mei walked into the back of the store.She saw the topless Ryo and
blushes.
"Mei... what can you tell me about your brother and the pendant he
had."

Yin-yu smiled at seth and closed her eyes humming a quietly. The
vampire yawns unable to stay awake due to her siren like song. he
soon nods off and snores quietly. 
Mei looked down, "Lin had trouble, so he found that pendant thinking
it was for good luck. But he started to go missing, others told me
that he was seen with a strange girl,  On the night he gone he said
that the girl was drinking his life, but her voice.......made
him....made him do things.  he wanted to be free of her."
Ryo but his lip nervously. he could hear someone singing in the
front room. his hand slid from his lap towards the sink where a
knife stood in the dish rack.
"Ryo.... What are you doing?" Saby asked concerned seeing the boys
arm move on its own.
The hand closed around the knife handle Sabyien only had time to
push Chun out of the way. He winced when he felt the blade sink into
his arm, he didn't scream, but Mei did.
At Mei's scream, Ryo sprang from the counter and ran from the room.


Ryo tried to scream, to stop to do anything. But his body wasn't
his anymore.  He broke through the doors and ran out into the rain,
there that girl from before was waiting for him. She opened her arms
and hugged him.
Ryo Felt as if his slip on reality was fading. he shut his eyes. and
slept in her arms. he awoke some time later laying on a fancy bed he
sat up slowly "Saby? Seth?" He asked Seeing neither.
"Shush....Just lay back down, you'll be fine." said a gentle femmine
voice beside him.

"Seth Wake up!"  Sabyien shook the vampire with his other hand. The
vampire twitched, smelling Saby's blood. His eyes opened. "Oh." He
yawned. "Hello Saby."
"Ryo's gone missing!!"
Seth's sat up, "When? How did this happen?"
"I was hoping that you'd tell me." Sabyien said, "....and I find you
here sleeping?"  he turned to Chun. "Would you let us know if you
find something? My number." He gave him a card and pulled the
vampire to his feet and dragged him out the door into the rain.

Chun took that card and called Mei to help him, they went down into
the basement, the old man unlocked the door and opened the lights to
the shelves and shelves of old books and scrolls. " I'm pretty sure
that the other half of that book is somewhere here."
Mei sighed and started looking.


Ryo Turned looking over at the woman speaker. "Who..."
"Its me my love Yin-yu." She leaned in the other pendant around her neck.
Ryo inched away as she came closer, "Yin-yu?  I-I don't believe that
we are..."
She was smiling very sweetly, "Are proimse to eachother? But we are,
You made your intension known when you put on the gift I left you ."
"...I'm Married And Gay. So there's no way I love you or would ever think
of loving you."
She looked at him deep hurt in her eyes. "You... You will pay for those
words...in the blood of your loved ones"


"There's no trail.....it ends at the water. " Seth said. He and
Sabyien  where on the same beach, both dripping wet. Seth had tended
to Saby's wound that Ryo had inflicted.
The guardian stared into the dark water.  "This must be......"
"Must be." Seth agreed. "Well after you." He nudged Saby towards the
water. 
Sabyien took one step into the into the water,  Seth saw the a strage
wave travling in the water just out of range, "Sabyien get back!"
The wave broke, a half-fish being  ran on the surface of the water,
towards them.
Saby took up a fighters stance as did seth. "Be ready. who knows
what could happen."
The fish-creature, shot a topedo of water directly at them.
Seth and Saby dove to the sides. Avoiding the water.
The water hit the gorund, a shower of damp sand rained down from
where it hit leaving  a small crater
"Where is my beloved Yin-yu?" He roared at them. "I Sense her! WHERE
ARE YOU HIDING HER?!"
Sabyien picked himself from the sand "Yin-yu?   Who?"  he moved when
another blast of water shot his way. from teh other side Seth was
puting some disstance between Sabyien and himself, making two
difficuts moving targets.
"Yin-yu?  What does this girl look like?  " Seth asked smiling, he
had a thought that girl he'd seen in the shop was.... 
The male water spirit continued to yell. "BRING ME YIN-YU! Bring my
love back to me!" He he opened his arms wider twined blasts of water
chased after the two men.
"Sabyien! Get him out of the water. his powers will decrease!"
"Better said then done." Sabyien muttered, avoiding the water-shots.
Seth laughed loud enough to get the water-spirit's attention, "I
remember her, Yin-yu 's a fine piece of ass!"
Enraged, the male water-spirit focused all it's engery trying to
wipeout the vampire, giving the guardian enough time to whip out his
blood ribbons and snare him in a tangle of red ribbons. Sabyien used
all his strength to pull the male water-spirit on to the sand.
The man flailed about like a fish. he cried out his voice like a
whales call. "Yin-yu~! Where is she?!"
Seth went to go and look down at the tangled water-spirit, "I was
hoping that you'd tell us that.....you see, she kinda ran off with
our junior family member."
Saby was having a tough time trying to keep the ribbon tight around
the fish-boy, "Any idea wher she might be?"

"If I knew would I be Searching for her?!" He screams trying to get
loose.


Ryo Felt sick. "Where is this place. I want to go home..." The
she-spirit smiled.
"Love you are home. You may rest here with me for all eternity." she
stroked his face. "My beloved Ai-Shui..."

Ryo scuddled back from her."I'm not..."

Sabyien sighed,  Seth grined at him "The greatist catch of your life
and it's the wrong one!"
"Seth!"  Saby let go of the ribbons, "This Yin-yu, are you aware
that she is kiddnapping young men?" 

THe man became serious. "She would never. Don't make stories about
those you don't know." he touches a hole about the size where the
locket would have fit. "We made a promise to find each other."

Seth and Saby glanced at each other.  Seth frowned. "You haven't
happend to lose a pendent, about this big with writing on it?"
"Yes, I lost it around here." The water-spirit pulled himself free
from Saby's ribbon. "It's the only link I have to my Yin-yu." 

"Ryo.... Put it on." Seth said hesitantly. The water spirit's eyes
widend.
"He Put on MY Lovs gift. That bastard. I'll Kill him." He turned and
dove into the ocean. seth chased after him. "He'll lead us to Ryo.
Come on sabyien."

Unknown to the vampire or the fish-like man, Saby had a ribbon tied
to one of it's feet. Sabyien cluched Seth's hand  as they dove
under,  the water-spirit pulled them along under the water.

Seth held his breath for a bit then remembering that he was already
dead and didn't need to breathe. he turned to sabyien who's breath
looked spent and brought their mouths together exhaling the still
fresh air into the guardian. they continued to be drug through the
water.

Sabyien didn't know how long he could hold his breath, just when he
thought that he couldn't hold it anymore, the sensation of falling
or floating....Seth shifted around to make sure that They both hit
the sandy bottom with both feet.
"it's ok Saby, you can breath here. " The vampire whispered.
Sabyien took a small drink, expecting water, he was suprised that
felt air. He blinked, he and SEth were crouched behind some coral.
it was clear that they where on the bottem of the ocean, but could
they breath?
Oh yes, we must have gone into the water realm. Sabyien thought 

Seth Took a look around. "I can smell him near by. Ryo must have
passed this way not to long ago."
"Which way?" Saby looked around his long hair flowing about his face
temporarilly obscuring his vision.
"Judging by the current and tide... that way." He pointed.
"You just made that crap up didn't you?" Saby asked half lit. Seth
smiled.
"How could you tell?"

"Your left eyebrow quirks when you lie."  Sabyien said, trying to
brush back the hair from his face. "Let's take a look around."
They walked along the bottem, ducking behind the coral to avoid
being seen by the Water-spirit. They could track him easly becasue
he kept calling out for Yin-yu. 

Ryo Was struggling to keep yin-yu away. she pursued him
relentlessly. He stumbled and fell. she was about to punce on him
when she stopped hearing someone call for her. she looked around.
"Ai-Shui?" Ryo turned over also hearing the voice. "AI-SHUI!!!!"

Ryo got up and started to run in the direction he hoped the voice
was coming from.

Seth  and Saby knelt, waiting for the Water-spirit to continue. 

"Ai-Shui!"
"Yin-yu!" The two swam towards each other at incredable speeds. both
moving towards ryo in a pincer movement. the boy stumbled able to
avoid the lovers as they reunited. "Its been so long."

"Ryo!" Sabyien called out standing from his hiding place.  Ryo
looked past the embracing mer-people to see Sath and Sabyien  come
out from behind the curtien of flowing plants 

Ai-Shui turned and grabeed ryo's neck ripping the pendant from him.
the boy cried out sharply as the skin tore. He sank to the ground.
blood clouds floating out around him. "Lets go home. Yin-yu..."

AS the pair moved off, Saby and Seth went to Ryo. The vampire lifted
the boy up by his arms and half carried him over to clearer water,
but the blood continued to seep from the wound.
"Seth, can't you heal him?" Sabyien asked him.
Seth nodded, he bit his tounge and bent to press his lips against
Ryo's wound.  The bleeding stopped.  The vampire stood up, "That
should od for now. How do we get out of here?"
"Swim out?" Sabyien shrugged.

"Think you and Ryo can hold your breaths long enough?" Seth asks
crossing his arms. "It'll be harder going up then coming down."

"Wait a minute, what about the others?" Ryo said,
"What others?"
"The other boys, I think that they might be held somehwere nearby."
Ryo said frowning.
"If they arn't already dead." Seth said. "You know that she might
have killed them? "

Ryo shook his head. "Listen you can hear them, if its just their
souls we can atleast let them rest where they belong."

Sabyien nodded, they stopped talking and listened, Saby lead the way
to a sunken ship. They looked in one of the holes and saw a table
with 4 large pears. the voices were coming from inside them.

Ryo touched one and heard voices calling out to them. he pulled his
arm back. "They're made of peoples souls..."
"So Lets break them and set the people free." Seth said picking two
up. Sabyien retrived the others handing one to ryo. "On 3 smash them
on the floor."
"1"
"2"
"3!" They hurled them down the orbs crashed to the ground breaking
open. thete was a rush of energy that propelled the three men
upwards blowing the ship to splinters. they soon surfaced

They swam to shore. Flopping on the sand ryo gasped. "Nic time
Raphael suggests we go to the beach... remind me to beat him."

Saby nodded in agreement, dropping to the sand in exsuation.  A
phone rang, Saby and ryo looked at Seth, the vampire dug aroun dhis
pockets, fishing out the cellphone he spoke into it. "Hello?  Chun ?
yeah?  so you found it?.....Uhm, no thank you, We've got the
problem solved now." He looked down at Ryo and shrugged, "Yeah, he's
fine."
"Lets go home to bed ok?" 
"Yes" the others agreed, they got up and went back to the car.  Seth
was on the phone again, he  left a message for Rapheal.  "Mission
complete"
