Piccolo was spawned from his father after Kami seperated from him. His father's intense evil remained a part of him, and he was born hating Goku. He lived to fight and kill Goku, but after fighting Radditz, he saw that he was wrong, and fought with Goku instead. He is a Namek, who posesses great power and though he's only a namek, there are times when he can keep up with even the saiyans. He is a great fighter, but due to his enemies usually being a lot stronger, you rarely see Piccolo win a fight.
