Episode 13 was absolutely beautifully wonderfully magnificently...yeah yeah, you get the picture. In two of my favorite words: FRIKIN AWESOME. This episode was just so perfect at building the suspence and again, that scary/dramatic feeling. The angel this time was actually a more parasitic type, invading the Maji and taking over, causing a possible self-destruct of NERV. Everything was coming down to the wire here, the eva's couldn't be laucnhed, all the computers files were being read by the angel, and reprogrammed, everything was going berserk, it was just so cool. This episode had me sitting on the edge of my seat the whole time(except for a few times I fell off). This is definately the BEST episode so far, and difnately something to work up into the series for.
