| Hey, my name is Elizabeth Ann Bradshaw, but I'm better known as Elli. I have hazel green eyes, medium/dark brown hair naturally, but it hasn't seen day light in a while (it is currently dyed dark reddish brown with brighter red underneath- it's been everything but green- it is usually orange, red or black), I cut it all off to send to Locks Of Love to make a wig for a child a few years back but I've grown it out again; my birthday is 12-18-1981 (almost 24!); I live in Chicago ( I was born in Minnesota); and I graduated from UIC as an English Writing Major with a minor in Art History. I hope to get into journalism, advertising and design, interior design, film/magazine editing, songwriting, playwriting, screenwriting, etc. or something like that someday. I work at a bookstore, I've worked at a library, and I'm considering getting my MLS or a design degree. I'm also really into architecture (I was an architecture major for a while), a really cool field that is not only related to Theatre Design and Art History (my other passions), but it's cool as all get out. Viva La Tech Crew!!!!! I'm a two star (just shy of three star), lifetime member of International Thespian Troupe #2119, which I earned in high school, and now I occasionally crew for community theatre. I also have *seven* tattoos* (see the link on the right for pics and info). I've got tattoos 8-100 planned ;) but I can't decide which design I want next or where to put it. I also have several extra holes in my head (9 to be exact- an eyebrow ring; 7 earrings, used to be 10 earrings but 3 of them closed; an eyebrow ring; and a nose piercing that had closed up, but that I redid a few months ago). I consider myself to be a fairly artistic/creative person, if you couldn't already tell, with the writing, architecture, theatre, tattoos, piercings, my doodles, and my wonderfully decorated apartment (wonderfully decorated when not a disaster area that is <wink> It's a work-in-progress). I used to work with Sculpey and I'm trying to teach myself to crochet and learn to play guitar.I also love to take pictures- I'm ok at it but I always forget to develop the film. Yay for digital. Have I mentioned that I tend to ramble and my mind wanders and jumps around? You get used to it after a while. Really I'm pretty shy when I first meet people or if I am in an unfamiliar situation... but it passes. Oh yeah, I am a Lutheran (LCMS), I helped with Sunday school/Teen Bible Study, I did church readings, I've done chancel choir and hand bells, I watched the nursery and participated in other youth activities. But since I work the weekends and moved out/away from home, I haven't been ti church in a while. But the basic beliefs are more important to me than the organized religion part anyway. In fact, I am sort of becoming tired of the hypocracy of the organized church. I also worked with children every day for many years- I love them, they are great! I want several. I'd love to adopt. My hobbies, besides the artistic stuff, when I actually have free time, are going to the movie theatre, watching one of the many movies I own, hangin' with my friends, hanging out at restaurants and coffee shops, and listening to my rather extensive music collection (which was reduced by a thief who relieved me of the contents of my car). I was addicted to caffeine- I love coffee, vanilla coke, Coke with Lime, and (green) tea- but that wasn't too cool and the doctor made me cut down because of my stomach (damn acid reflux disease). I'm trying to give up pop and coffee altogether. It's not really working. I'm a pesco-pollo-ovo-lacto vegetarian, which basically means I eat fish, poultry, eggs and dairy, but no red meat or pork or anything like that. I may do weird things to my body, but it's not harmful or gross stuff like drugs, tons of alcohol, or any meat. That's it about me I guess. :) EMAIL ME :) |
