1). Use only letters (A to Z), numbers (0 to 9, any combination of), and the underscore ( _ ) when naming your file. The server computer does not like the other symbols and blank spaces in filenames. Fanfic files can be either an HTML or Microsoft Word document. I am no longer accepting email-block fics, unless it is already in proper paragraph form.
2). Rate your fanfic accordingly , Explanation of Ratings:
G - Suitable for all ages.
PG - Regular violence. Minor and lesser profanity.
PG13 - we'd prefer to get this rated. Detailed violence, sexual innuendos.
R - Heavy violence, implied sex, heavy profanity, insinuated homosexuality.
NC17 - Extreme violence and profanity, detailed sex, involved homosexuality.
3). Create a blurb for your fanfic or artwork. A blurb is a small amount of text to encorage people to look at your work. Describe your mood when creating it, what it's supposed to be, a teaser to make people read the story. Leaving the blurb out of your email will result in having Whipblade write one up for you. Please keep these blurbs to PG or G rating, even for the NC17 fanfics.
4). Email your submission to [email protected]In the subject line, put Fanfic Submission or Fanart Submission. Include the following in the body of your email:
Title of the work,
Name of author and artist as it should appear on the site
Rating for fanfics
Pairings if it contains such.
Webpage if the author/artist has one
The blurb. Attach submission to this email and send.
5) Member submissions are accepted threw the Whipblade Behind the Scenes Y!group.
Note: I am also accepting screen shots of either X-Men, Biker Mice, or Transformers (Beast wars n' G1/G1 only).
6). If you have an account with FanFiction.Net, FictionPress.Net or AdultFanfiction.net containing stories other than X-Men, BMFM or TF and would like a link, by all means provide your user ID number n' name n' I will gladly provide a link with your work.

8) Whipblades site accepts FanArt, FanFics, Essays, Lists, Links, Rants, and a bunch of other stuff ^_~
