Once More With Feeling

Part Seven
By the time Logan and Marie arrived back, Victor was close
to being a basket case! Never had he tried to impress a teenager before
as much he tried to impress Marie! She ‘had’ to like him!
He couldn’t go through loosing Logan again! Not again! He’d rather
die first. He ‘had’ to make her understand that it wasn’t personal,
and that he’d do everything in his power to help keep her safe.
He explained this to her and by some miracle, she understood!
“If there’s any reason you need me, to watch Logan’s back or if he’s not
available, (it could happen) call me and I’ll be there faster than you can
say ‘Bob’s yer uncle’! Look on me as a ‘godfather’,” Victor told her
sincerely.
“I’ll spend the rest of my life making this up to you, I promise.”
“OK Victor. Consider yourself forgiven,” Marie inform him.
“Thank you Marie, you’ve made me very happy!”
The evening made Logan’s heart soar! The two people that
he cared about most had come to an understanding and were enjoying each
other’s company. Marie had commented on how posh the suite was, how
good the meal was and how she enjoyed talking to the two of them together.
When it was time for her to go home, they volunteered
to take her, but she wouldn’t hear of it.
“I’m more than capable of getting home alone, between the radio and
TV I’ll have plenty to keep me occupied! You two don’t have that much
more time together, so, I want you to enjoy your time alone.”
They walked her down to the limo and Victor informed
the driver that she was ‘precious cargo’ and that he wanted her to arrive
at the mansion safe. He was to call as soon as he dropped her off.
She hugged Victor goodbye and told him she really liked his hair. Then carefully
kissed Logan and informed him that she was very happy for him. She told
him to have a good time and that she would see him sometime tomorrow or the
next day or whenever! Victor made sure she had his cell phone number
and she promised that she would call if she needed anything or if she just
wanted to talk.
They watched the limo drive away and turn the corner. They
rode the elevator back up to their suite, barely able to keep their hands
off each other! They spent the next four days together. They worked
out in the weight room, swam in the pool, got long relaxing massages and
made love to each other until they passed out!
On the fourth day, Logan recieved an emergency phone call;
he was needed. Victor helped Logan quickly pack and went down to the
lobby with him. They kissed the whole way down, not parting until the
eleovator bell dinged. Victor walked to the car and hugged Logan goodbye.
He watched until the car was out of sight, then headed back up to pack.
He smiled to himself, for the first time in a long time, he didn’t feel like
killing anything!
