Saturday, October 6th
Gym opens - 10:00am
Women's Sabre close of registration - 10:30 am
Mixed Sabre close of registration - 12:00 pm
The venue for the event will be Elzie Odom Recreation Center in Arlington, Texas. Shower facilities, snack bar, plenty of parking and a great floor to fence upon.

Advanced Sabre Referee Clinic

Starts promptly at 6:30pm - ends when we get tired!
Focusing on how to properly referee modern saber actions, with both video and live analysis. Participants should bring full fencing equipment. Opportunity to take the written referee exam, and be observed in sabre at the tournament. Intended for developing sabre referees and sabre fencers who wish to increase their understanding of how sabre actions are (and should be!) interpreted by referees.

FOC Referee Training Clinic
Sunday, October 6, 2002
Starts promptly at 9 am - ends at 5pm.
This is the required FOC training course that must be taken prior to the referee exam and will be fullfill the requirement for yearly training and certification. It will focus on rules and regulations both general and specific to each of the three weapons. Especially highlighted will be the new rules and regulations that will go into effect this season. Highly recommended for all competitive fencers. Even if you do not wish to become a rated USFA referee, this clinic will give you valuable insight into the referee's perspective and greatly enhance your competitive experience. Lunch will be served. Participants should bring paper and pencil - fencing equipment is not needed. Attendees should have reached 13 years of age.

All USFA referees are strongly encouraged to attend an FOC Referee Training Clinic on a yearly basis.

Friday Clinic - $40.
Sunday Clinic - $60.
Late registration fee after October 4th - additional $20
