ya ever had one of those days? ya know, when your car wont start?... (what song is that from, anyone??) well, monday was a doozey. started out with a sausage egg mcmuffin and hashbrowns for breakfast, jesse's treat. that only cramped me up for an hour or so. so i kept goin. we cleaned and started organizing her stuff for packing. (my little sis is moving to the washignton dc area.) i took a load of stuff to the donation bin on cemetary road at hilliard square. on the way back somewhere around carriage place at sawmill road my car started to sputter and stall. lights were blinking, it was shaking. i thought, 'what does my mechanic DO when he has my car???' so i kept going until i saw the glowing signs of the marathon station. hallelujah!! they had a garage and a mechanic on duty!!! turns out my radiator has a leak. so, he put some sealant in for a temporary fix and i was off to visit marmmie. we had a nice visit, and she insisted we stay. so i got the baby off to sleep and decided to return her father's phone call. he had left a message on saturday, and i was dreading talking to him. it wasn't a nice conversation. can you say 'baby's daddy drama?" when will he ever grow up? so, that had me stirred up and i just wanted my own bed. so elora and i went home and i decided to avoid him until he can prove himself. no more promises. just do it boy! so, yesterday i spent cleaning the appartment and went to moms to store some stuff in the basement. mom and dad don't think i should talk to him either. the best news is i got registered for classes last night! i have a few phone calls to make today, and classes start january 5!!! wow, i'm so excited!! |
