Job Would Have Been a Very Good Doctor Because He Had a Lot of Patience

"Love is patient, love is kind," Archie mumbled pleasedly, swinging his hammock back and forth.

"Would you go to sleep?" Horatio growled, burying his face in his own.

"Horatio, you're not accepting me as I am. Love is patient, love is kind." Archie glowed. "And you've just said I love you, which is quite uncharacteristic for you, but I know you're a terribly good Christian, aren't you, so you read your bible, and you should know that." He swung his hammock again, back and forth, back and forth. It made Horatio sick to look at him, despite being a lieutenant.

"All right, I'm being patient, so you'll be kind and stop that, won't you?"

"Huh. Fine thing to say after admitting your gorgeous-desperate- unending love for me," Archie said, but he stopped swinging.

"Oh, for heaven's--" Horatio sat up, got out of his hammock, and kissed Archie's cheek. "There," he said, feeling reasonably proud of himself.

Archie giggled.

Horatio huffily returned to his hammock and went to sleep.
