Of All Things


In the month of February, when the streets were nasty and slushy and the weather was unpleasant, Courfeyrac found himself acutely bored. So to remedy this, he began for the first time in rather a while to accept invitations to parties.

It was at one of these that he met the beautiful young man that all his friends were so enthusiastic about. It was true the boy was lovely; and clever too; and engaging in an odd sort of way.

But, "Dorian," as Courfeyrac complained loudly, "why must you always be so cynical and irritating when we speak of actresses?"
